It is a good price. But judging from the patchy reception I have gotten whilst driving on my phone. it doesn't seem a good product.

Some people may want to use tablets and maybe their phone plan doesn't allow tethering

Your 4G phone only works if it can connect to a 4G network. This device gives you a mini 4G network.

These are portable WiFi hotspots, allowing you to share your 4G connection with other devices without you having to use the hotspot facility on your phone (and hence drain its battery).
Think of it as your home broadband router, but with a SIM card in it instead of connected to your home phone socket.

Bargain ordered thank you op

So it connects to attached devices by 4g. (If they're 4g capable)

But if it's not getting a 4g signal, then it'll only be feeding them a connection up to the speed it's connected at.

So you don't really gain anything ...

If you have reception at the caravan park

Hotter than the sun - not only a 4G mifi device but can be used in the car too!

i was wondering about the power can it be plugged in to a socket or do i need an adapter ty

The only thing not-so-great is the lack of internal battery but can't complain for £10

Going for over £30 on ebay

No the device itself is 4G and connects to the EE 4G network (drops to 3G if no 4G signal),the devices you connect to it do not have to be 4G.

EXAMPLE- You plug this in to your fag lighter socket in your car on a long journey and then the kids in the back can connect their ipads (via wifi) to this device like its a router to get connection to the Internet,so it's handy for devices that can use wifi but do not have mobile capabilitys
