Codes aren't available on eBay, but EE will unlock it for you via their online unlocking form. You will need a PAYG sim with at least £8.99 credit to buy the unlock code though.

I checked it out when it was released at £200 and found it to have poor build quality and crap cameras.

I would look at it differently for £85 though. Great price.

Hi, does anybody know whether wifi calling would work with this phone if an EE pay monthly SIM was used? The EE FAQ Claims that only phones bought from their stores/online shop will have the functionality but is there really any difference? Thanks!
seems like it is a rebranded BenQ f52. has LTE 1800mhz and 2600mhz so no good for O2 or Vodafone I believe

from what I can see, it needs the 5.1.1 update which has proved to be problematical for WiFi calling
How easy to unlock? Do u just need someone credit or do u need to have an active SIM for a certain time?

It's a good phone but that battery life is pretty dire unfortunately I ended up getting the Smart Ultra 6 which is more of a beast to hold/use but has really good battery life
Showing as £79.99

Just to clarify, are you referring to the bricking issue with harriers from all sources or do third party sellers use a different ROM to EE? Thanks!
the official ee 5.1.1 update has bricked a lot of these phones

the official ee 5.1.1 update has bricked a lot of these phones

Ok thanks for clarifying. I'm not too worried about that as surely it would be covered under warranty? Just wondered if EE had explicitly blocked wifi calling for third party sellers, if not this is a cracking price for those after wifi calling!

Yep, as long as it is actual credit. Many £10 EE PAYG cards are £10 bundle "packs" that include minutes and texts, but no actual credit.

If the card is a bundle pack, simply text "STOP PACK" to 150 as soon as you put the card in the phone. Make sure the phone is set up fully first, as EE will apply the bundle pack within a few minutes of the SIM being activated. EE will then text to ask if you want to confirm, reply with "YES". This will stop the £10 credit from converting into a minutes/texts bundle pack.
Finding a silicone case for this is nigh on impossible
Delivery is £4.95
Because it is locked to EE, a T-Mobile sim should work right?

It's smaller than the Smart Ultra 6, but not by much:

Harrier: 147 x 74.5 x 9.3 mm (screen size 5.2")
SU6: 154 x 77 x 8.4 mm (screen size 5.5")
Wileyfox Swift: 141 x 71 x 9.4 mm (screen size 5.0")

Is the size really manageable though? i've seen it in the shop window and looks too big!

I think 5-5.2 is my limit.... need to use one handed for street navigation etc

Hopefully the next budget phones will be 5.2 inch this year.... then i'll bite!

I Dont think it's practical at all. No way you can use it one handed. It's annoying that voda released the smart prime 6 but lowered the specs it's like just coz you want a smaller screen you have to suffer lower specs. Stupid.
Hopefully this year there will be a 5 inch budget model

I know they say that (and it makes sense for other models, Samsung etc.) but I can't see that they'd go to the trouble of using a different ROM for third party sellers on their own phone would they? Only one way to find out I guess!
Would this work with a virgin sim? Good price!!! Good find!!!
