3G dongle so will be slow speeds.
I'd seriously look for a 4G one on a deal. Big difference in usability.

For a bit … For a bit more....http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-LINK-TL-MR3020-Portable-Wireless-Router/dp/B00634PLTW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1442927652&sr=8-2&keywords=4g+dongle

I may be wrong, but I believe the MR3020 is just a router, and requires an internet source (USB dongle or LAN) to work?
Sorry, you're right. Bum steer.

I bought the EE 3G Mifi from argos for £19.99 with 2gb data included and also managed to unlock online for free. Speed haven't actually been that bad getting around 7 Mbps when doing a speed test which was good. Test where done using the included EE data sim. Also tried an o2 sim but found speed were poor, although o2 mobile internet in my area has never been that fast.

I have one of these and use it in the car. No problem streaming music and video according to my daughter on the M3/M25/M1.

huaweicodecalculator.com/algo/ type the imei number in and the model number which is e5330bs-2 for the EE one and then it will give you the unlock code. You have to sign into google before it will yet generate the code. To get the unlock page to appear on the Mifi you will have put another network sim in other than EE and then enter the generated code. If you don't want to use the website you can buy the code on ebay for 99p
I'm using one of these dongles with the 200GB EE summer sim and the speeds I get are fantastic (between 10 and 16Mbps consistently). I work waking night shifts near a city centre, which definitely helps with less congested network overnight, and can stream HD YouTube, Netflix, iplayer etc. With no issues. Also haven't experienced any slow down when using certain peer to peer clients etc. Highly recommended!
Not bad price, almost worth buying for the data sim alone to pout in any existing dongle or mi-fi. You could unlock the dongle and flog it on Ebay for around £6 or so, making the 2GB Data sims a lot cheaper than buying from EE if you just need a little data short term. High volume users or people wanting more than the 30 day periods the 2GB sim cards come with will be better using a Pay Monthly option on a 30 day contract.
