83 pounds a month for a mobile phone? Am I reading it correctly?

nope it really is that cheap.

£1,000 for a mobile which will be out of date in 6 monhs

If by out of date you mean there's a new version out then why spend £1,500 for a tv that'll be out of date in 6 months, £500 for a laptop that'll be out of date in 3 months, £25,000 for a car that'll be out of date in 12 months, £60 on a football shirt that'll be out of date in 12 months ........
By your reckoning the whole technology, motor and fashion/clothing retail market would be at a virtual standstill

    12 or 24 months?!
83 pounds a month for a mobile phone? Am I reading it correctly?
I think this is a 12 month refresh deal, but you are stuck in a 2 year contract.
    Slightly misleading deal if true.
What's a refresh deal? Upgrade in the middle of a contract?

if this 12 month, i would buy 10 of them.
By my maths it's a touch over £2000, very much doubt this is a 12 month contract unless I'm missing something

Do you think you're going to get a thousand pound phone and a massive date allowance like that for £24.99 a month?
Half that cost is the phone the other half works out at £42 a month which for 100gb is about right.
Not a great deal, probably going to be pretty much the same as everyone else around that time.
    They don't do 12month contract.
Very misleading title, total is £2001.75

You sign up to a 24 month contract but after 12 months you can return the phone you had and get a new one. At the same time as getting the new phone you are automatically accepting a new 2 year contract.
If you then want to get out of the contract you need to have had the same phone for 24 months then you can cancel /migrate.

    Cold as ice.
So this 'non-deal' isn't even a deal as you can't actually pre-order it til 27th October... It's not as though you get the jump by ordering it now and guaranteeing it on launch day which might actually be a little more interesting.
    But, only £9.99 upfront.
    Looooooool
Sorry OP but £82.99 a month contract has got to be voted cold
bit of a get now pay later deal sounds a bit like Brighthouse offer
All kinds of no. Maybe we have found something that actually is colder then absolute zero.... This isn't a deal it's a scientific discovery
lol - Three unlimited is much cheaper
getting colder, this one looks like it will pass Absolute zero!!

my cold vote helped it on it's way....

£1,000 for a mobile which will be out of date in 6 monhs

I've never owned an iPhone but there's no chance the X will be out of date in 6 months.

Cold for me as the OP is misleading with the 12 months reference.
I can get a car for £88 a month they have to distinguish the value from a phone to a car paying that much for a phone is crazy
