This deal was posted 2 months ago but along with the EE 200GB data deal this gives you 2 months of 200GB 4G data for a total of £30

To get the deal you need to take out a one-month rolling contract on the lowest tarrif for £10 (which you cancel before end of 1st month) and you are then able to buy the EE Osprey Mini2 for £10. Combine it with the PAYG 200GB data deal (costing you £10 top up) to get 200GB 4G data for 2 months (technically 60 days as per T&Cs)

If I have understood correctly, if you cancel the rolling contract just before end of first month, you'll still end up paying for second month. As you need to give 30 days notice for rolling contracts.
I have reserved one at £19. I already have the 200GB Christmas sim. Will I need to start a contract in shop or will I be picking up the device only?.

I cancelled it on the very same day, I'll need to check what that means for getting charged the second month although the guy in the shop was sure that I'd only get charged one month. I'll cancel the direct debit anyway.
Better to get the ID Huawei MiFi offer for £20 for one month via Carphone Warehouse (20GB of data). That MiFi is almost certainly unlocked - whereas the EE one isn't....and you can also go via Quidco for a potential £20 cashback too..

You can then get your EE sim and stick it in at the start of December once the ID sim runs out. 3 months of usable data and an unlocked MiFi for £30 (or £10 if Quidco comes through)
paid £33 for mine last week with 6gb credit. battery life is awful and can't get a 4g signal anywhere usually stays around 1 or 2 bars on 3g. faster to tether from my phone. these can also be unlocked for 99p from eBay

That's gonna leave a mark on credit score.

lol, cancelling the dd doesn't cancel the contract, it only says "I want to pay by an alternative method" (and also triggers the monthly non dd fee of £3.50 per month

and yes, to cancel and only pay the 1 month, you need to give the required 30 days notice any time within the first day
I got the ID deal, my Huawei dongle came unlocked.

i never said it did. I've cancelled the contract and will also cancel the direct debit when it shows up on my account
thanks OP, just what I was looking for
iD deal looks OK after a quick look. Three network (iD) or EE? you decide

As others have sed the huawei device from Carphone works out better, the ee mifi hardware is a bit poo as well as I have one and the battery is pointless, it will turn off if no device is connected also.

Just cancel the ID one as soon as you get it. You'll then have 1 month of ID data (20GB), and can then switch to EE for their Christmas deal. This is of course assuming that the ID Huawei MiFi is unlocked (I would assume it is given that it is being sold by CPW)
Best of both worlds
Just went to currys to get this, got home and I am getting 3.6 MB/s downloads on "MOVIES THAT I ALREADY OWN", happy with it.

Going to get another one of the Sim cards, so I can sit at 200gb for 2 months till sky decide to get some proper offers on.

Was a PITA to cancel though, the guy on the phone wouldn't let me as he said I need to go into store to do it (he gets a mark on his record if a customer cancels on him you see) and had to go through to the UK call centre to cancel.
