Can you convert the credit from this to your play store account? I remember someone suggesting that with a similar deal a while ago
Tis cheap, and been this price for couple of months. Same price via the bay, limited to max 2 sims per 3months. Think Home Bargains offer same in store at same price or 1p more, but you can fill your basket if that's your bag.
so what actually happens here then?

you buy this sim for 0.99p, that has £5 Credit

you put it in your phone and then £1 is taken off straight away from the £5 Credit for the 7 day pack (25 mins + 50 text)

then after 7 days, another £1 is taken from the £4 you had left and so on i.e. £1 taken off every 7 days until the rest of the £3 credit is eaten up.

My question is - how to stop that automatic conversion of your £1 to a 7 day pack?
Yea - i got one didnt use it much and then credit expired after a month, i think you can call CS to take of pack.

How to stop a pack

You can stop a new pack from starting through My Account on ee.co.uk or the My EE app. Your current pack will continue until it ends or until all the allowances are used up.

Log in to My Account
Click Pack and add-ons in the menu
Under Next pack, click CHANGE or REMOVE.

Or text STOP PACK to 150.

If you put the new SIM in a smartphone, because apps on the phone will start using data in the background, the pack will be started then.

To avoid that, put the SIM in an old non-data-capable phone and text STOP PACK to 150. Or, make sure you disable mobile data on your smartphone before turning it off and putting the EE SIM in. Then text STOP PACK to 150.

If you do that, you can also use the free 50MB starter data allowance (which goes away if you access mobile data with a pack active).

ok thanks
Amazon does not seem to have the 2 sim limit like ebay, but my Q is if one buys say 6 and used say 1 every couple of months, will they expire before being used or put in a phone etc?

Remember that apps on your phone can use a lot of data in the background. So disable background data on your phone first otherwise that 50MB could be eaten up very quickly.

Register for "My Account" on the EE web site. You can use a PC, no need to use your phone. Once you've done that, you should be able to log in and see your allowances. You could also install the "My EE" app from the Play Store (over WiFi) on your phone, that should show the allowances too.

Alternatively, if you want to risk using/wasting some of your data allowance, you can go to add-on.ee.co.uk/status using your phone's web browser.

very informative...thank you very much for your time
£2.50 now
Back to 99p.
Turned off data, inserted sim, texted stop pack, got confirmation, turned on data, faffed about getting google play to recognise sim, it did eventually, checked balance: £4

No great loss, but I've got 3 more of these and I've got a 4.49 purchase lined up for at least one of them.

Try again I guess. Any ideas? I guess the pack activated

Edit: originally wanted for psn credit, can anyone confirm £1 top up in store at we?

GBP5 Credit included (GBP4 Credit & your first GBP1 Talk and Text pack)
Your pack will last for 7 days, after which a new pack will be taken from your credit
The longer you stay the better off you are, as every 3 months you can choose from extra data, texts or minutes
