Seems like a good deal for low mobile usage or to put in tablets. Seems like reserve and collection is available everywhere with 5 days wait. Delivery is £3.95, so probably only worth it if buying a few.

Hopeful useful to someone!

The reviews seem to suggest it's highly likely to be only 200m

Likely Argos gave the new 500MB sim the old 200mb slot/number. It is 500MB, someone posted it before

Perfect for my tablet, thanks!

The OP is about EE but the comments about Three??

EE's deal is 500MB a month, for a year, for a one off £4.99, while Three's offer is 200MB a month, indefinitely, for absolutely nothing.

Looks like it's 6GB loaded at the start which means your not capped at 500MB per month.

Technically you could blow your lot in the first month.

You would have to self regulate your usage to make this last the entire year.

How long do you have to activate? Thinking of buying a couple and using in and old iPhone for for a sat nav in the car on the rare occasions I need one... it works ok with offline maps and no data but would be more useful with a bit of data to do real time maps

No good for me. ..self regulate, who does that?

If it's the same as the one I've had before, it is 500MB per month rather than 6GB up front. I paid £24.99 last time though. Collecting mine from the local branch Monday.

It looks like these are old stock as EE's current offer is 2GB a month for 6 months for £24.99, which is vastly less useful to me, so get them while you can.

(Argos limit it to max 1 purchase, annoyingly).

I have a couple of the free 200mb Three sims for use with an old phone for Waze, very rarely have I ended up getting texts telling me I was about to run out of data. Only problem is I can't remember when the counter resets each month.

Sorry a bit stupid question but - can I use this in overseas (within EU) on my iPad / laptop ?

I believe so, yes. I've had one on the same deal in my ipad since last November, and it worked fine in Spain earlier this month (until the monthly 500MB ran out). If it runs out, you can buy a 1GB add on for 7 quid.

good man .
i have been researching how much data a satnav usage with traffic , would be

Download and Use the three app on your smartphone and it will tell you below the current amount of data you got when it resets

Argos have been hacked

Cheers OP.

Argos website up and running again.

can any one confirm the 500 mb per month or the 6 gb a year . as reviews on argos are not the greatest ....

Super great deal, thanks OP - very helpful for me!

i know its supposed to be a data sim. but is it possible to make the odd mobile call with this by adding some credit ?

You can also get this one for £4.99,

It's 6GB preloaded, valid for 90 days, cba posting it as a deal so if someone else wants too feel free

Argos reviews seem quite clear that this is not as advertised.

So you only pay £5.00 for the whole year

No, save the Penny, you pay £4.99 for the whole year.

Oos in every Glasgow store!

When I go on the 3 site to get the 200mb deal it looks as if I have to pay an initial £10 to top up first.

Out of stock near me

Once you put the sim in your device, switch the data on and fire up the three app and it should automatically recognise the sim number.

Thanks, just after posting this I downloaded the app, all seems fine but it does not (or I haven't found it yet) the actual remaining allowance. It could be that it needs a decent signal to retrieve it and I am in a poor signal area and it is currently connected via WiFi.

Go on Google & search for "three data reward sim". It was working perfectly fine when I added on this thread. Adding links on HUKD Is fecking
