Called to get a PAC after a 24m contract, with no intention of asking for a deal since I’ve heard that EE don’t offer competitive prices.

Chap said I had a 20% discount and offered 6gb, unlimited calls/texts and I asked if he could do more. He offered 10gb straight away for 12m contract

I was going to go with Voxi or ID but have had good reception and service from EE

You were paying £19 for 3GB no wonder they can offer you this they robbed you blind last year.

seems something was not as it seems, op never paid £19 last time. Could be editing could be way it was read who knows.

I have EE and am on £10 a month for 11Gb But you have to be careful though. If you look closely I am only on 1Gb a month for £16. They then chuck in a 10Gb bonus and a recurring £6 a month discount.
What this means though is that when they do the RPI increase each year they increase the full £16 and then take off £6, so your actual costs increase by more than RPI. Sneaky but compliant with regulation!

This plan is 3GB for £19 but was offered £9 loyalty discount and additional 7GB data (see screenshot)

I've just been offered this today too. Still gonna go with Voxi though, more flexibility with a 30day
was also offered this yesterday .. switching to BT though for the inclusive BT sport app - BT offered 8gb for £17pm x12 months with a £55 gift card - BT sport through EE is as much as an extra £15pm after the initial 3 months free ... This is good deal from EE though if BT sports does not interest you ...

No, £19 is what this deal normally costs, as you can see on the screenshot, not what I paid for my last contract. You should be more careful when throwing around the word ‘blind’

This is a fab deal!! I went for it

Thank you
They wouldn’t offer it me. Offered me 8GB for £11.11. Think I’ll go with voxi for the flexibility instead
I got this on retention in Wednesday too. Told them Virgin were doing 10gb for £10 and they matched it. I was happy with that as EE has been good everywhere I've been.
Mobiles.co.uk is doing Vodafone 15gb/unlimited/unlimited for £9.99/month after cashback.

When did rob you blind become a term you can’t use, they saw you coming last year is that one okay to say?

£19 a month is a ridiculous sum to be paying for 3GB really is, less than a tenner on a 30 day contract and in the last year probably been below £7.50. So they certainly saw you coming.
Great deal

I think his point is - you cannot read - try again.

It might be now but when this was posted it said 3GB for £19 last year probably why his edit was after my original post and the two likes of my original post.

Which option did you pick and call through?
I have an ee mobile data contract for my ipad - anyone know the best deal for 5 gb data on ee?
Already published on HUKD...

If it helps, I just followed the instructions for “to request a PAC” or “if you’re thinking of leaving us”

Let me clear up any confusion. This deal is for a £19pm simo but EE apply discretionary add-ons and discounts to get to the deal in the OP. (At no point did I say I paid this last year)

No, you got your pants pulled down.
Cold. I’m currently on £5 a month 100gb datat and unlimited calls and texts from EE
Rather go with VOXI then being locked into an contract.

Why bother when virgin offer 10gb plus quidco, ok only 5000 minutes but thats plenty for most people
For £10 per month its tidy, any free use in europe which should be inc

Been offered 15gb for £14 - what everyone think? 10gb isn’t enough, I average about 12/13gb.
Currently on 40gb for £20pm, don’t need that much just need to reduce monthly. Was offered the 100gb for 20 too but not interested
Didn't work for me . Current contract coming to an end £25 for 2gb 🤪🤪...
Asked for PAC code . Told them moving to virgin £10 10gb. Let's see what we can do ...
Tried to sell me broadband and other family Sims .. then offered £9 for 2gb .

Yep going to snap that up ...soooo similar to virgin deal .
Leaving EE then .
