EE SIMO Retention Deal - 100GB for £20p/m (£240 total over 12 months)

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Yesterday I was on the phone to EE to see what I could do with my expired contract and they offered me 100GB for £20p/m.

This is for a 4G max plan allowing the fastest 4G EE speeds.

I know that there are better deals out there, however these involve either different providers or cashback offers which are an absolute pain to claim.

This is for those who want the best price with as little effort as possible.

While it's not bad deal, however, not being funny, I don't consider retentions as "deals" as they're specific to a customer. Not votin either way
I'm having spag bol for tea.

They offered me 20% off monthly tariff to stay with them recently but all of them were dearer even with the discount than anywhere else

I got this same deal a few months back when three offered their £20 all you can eat deal - like most things in life, it's all about your timing

Under the new rules this will be moved to Misc.
I just got this without any hassle
I also phoned and got this deal but i managed to get them to add another manager discount so its £18 a month. But this could be possibly because i am going to share data on a few new sim cards

I tried and failed to get this a few months back when virgin were offering 100GB. Guy said they couldn't get anywhere close and offered 20GB £25! Even went though the process of getting my PAC code (didn't use it )
Will try again but not holding out much hope
I got this couple of months ago...don't use more than 20gb per month, been trying to use as much as possible, even teethering 3 iPads ...

I understand, I posted this on my phone and did not know there is another category to use. My apologies for that. However, the EE rep I spoke to suggested that all the retention deals are available to everyone after only 1 year with them, but they do change weekly.

Try to ask ee to match.
If one stagf cannot do it...disconnect and get to chat to next person .
Keep on trying until you get lucky

I never get deals like this. Maybe I’m doing it wrong. What sort of things are you saying to get these offers? How do the conversations go?

Usually you have to go down a long rabbit hole, but this time I stated I was leaving, they transferred me to a retention team and they gave me these offers. I tried to bargain but they wouldn't budge, so I went for it.

Next week they will be in misc with the new rules one of many coming, that’s one of the best ones.
Good network coverage.
I got this last week and then put on friends and family so I can share data

I rang, I explained that my 'friend' and several people on hotukdeals were offered this deal today and I've been a loyal customer for 2 years. she said she'd check whats available but before she did what is it i want? and I said well just more data for no extra cost even if it wasn't 100gb, just more than 20 which i already had, 5 mins later said yes we have 100gb available as you mentioned and you're a high level loyal customer, so i was like aight cool, lets do this, she then said it also means i could get the offer for a family member too or something if they were an existing EE customer.

that was that.

tried live chat previous and they kept saying it wasn't possible, and i popped off and told him i was gonna leave EE because of him and its all his fault
I got this deal a couple of months ago. The agent initially offered it for £27. After I agreed to the tariff at £27, she checked her computer and said she could offer it for £20.

I can get through most of the 100GB as I travel for work and tether off my phone rather use the client’s WiFi. The kids and the car also tether off my phone.

It's okay amigo, it was just that these are generally customer specific. Anyway it looks like some people benefited which is not bad.
Hot as hell for me, as just called to say I’m leaving due to data issues when I was at the Silverstone F1, now on 100gb for £20....... bloody bargain, thanks OP! 🔥

Is this on the essential plan?

Is this on the essential plan?

Not sure what you mean by “Essential”, unlimited calls and texts, 100gb of data, £20, bargain!
Got onto this plan earlier in the year as my contract was finished so moved over to sim only and all I done was mention that virgin had 100gb deal for £20 a month and they gave the same deal with no arguments or messing around

they did however offer me 40gb for £18 a month as an alternative but I just said I’d rather pay the extra £2 a month and know I won’t go anywhere near my data limit as I use Spotify in the car and lots of streaming

I mean there is a smart plan with swappable benefits including roaming in USA plus BT Sport, where as essential plan doesn't have these benefits.

Ahhhh, just checked and no swappables
I just called Ee and the offered me very quickly the 100GB for £20 but as mentioned above On Essential Plan. So if you are on the old Max Plan you would lose BT Sports access and 5 Roaming Countries i.e. USA..... But obviously you would gain extra GB. Also on the main EE web page they are still saying that Essential plan gives you speeds up to 60 Mps although the retentions told me they abolished different download speeds, allegedly on 01/05/2019.
At the end I kept my old Max Plan.
Hope this helps:
I am on the old t-mobile unlimited data tariff paying about £11 a month (3g only) + got a bt mobile sim and I called up EE about 2 months ago to check on any offers for upgrading to 4g on my old t-mobile plan. Guy at first offered I think £20 for 20gb and said this is one of the best offers available, after a bit of haggling offered me 40gb for £20.
Mentioned to him that I have a bt mobile with 4g which offers me 200gb for £20 and another EE offer which I think was 100gb for £20 at the time and he stated he couldn't match that.

After deliberating for a few minutes he spoke to a manager and offered this deal for 100gb for £20 with the fastest speeds. Considered it for a few days however still turned it Down.
I managed to get 105gb data unlimited calls/text with 2 swappable benefits of which I chose bt sport and unlimited video data pass all for £19 monthly on EE sim only
Great deal. Got this today.
Moved the 2 kids phones from 40gb each for 22 each to 100 for 20.
Over double the data and I save 4 quid per month

Just called up upgrades.
Told them my friend had 20 for 100gb deal.
They searched for a while then said yep you can have that.

Not sure why this deal is cold ?

Some people cant be bothered to download bills in pdf file and upload on other webside.
They just want the deal after cashback and do not hop the loops.

I don't understand either. There are no better deals from EE out there like this. I know this is a retention deal, but still everyone who has tried has succeeded in getting it?! Glad you got it anyway
Took a bit of effort but got this deal today, retentions guy on the phone went away for a good few minute's to talk to his manager, then came back and said he could match it (I'd said BT were offering 100gb for £20)
Thanks op!
Does this sort of "retention bargaining" only work for people on 12/24m contracts or could they be applied to people on monthly rolling contracts? The thing is a fixed-term contract ends (by definintion) whereas monthly rolling ends every month, so to speak. I've been on monthly rolling since '15 and have 32g for 28= (now up to 30 by infl.). Thanks
