Heat! Max plans having gone handset only and 40GB! All good for £20 a month !
Just tried through chat and they said they couldn't find this deal and I will have to call them up

Would make sense as all EE roaming is capped at 15GB.
How do I get this to work? I'm on EE and my 2 year contract ends in a few to 6 months (not sure)
I’m on 16GB sim only max plan for £13 pm which now means I can’t upgrade because I’ll lose the max speed element which is actually faster than my broadband

    Not on sim only anymore.....
    Only on handset deals
Nice. I've got this with 30GB.
I phoned 150- said I saw deal on here 40GB for £20 and could I have it- they went away and put me on hold for 2 mins and then came back and confirmed I could have- got second sim on shared plan for my daughter at same time £10 less 10% discount and then you can “gift” data from your sim to other sim on shared plan
I got £6 for 25GB back when ee messed up their offer.
I tired to get this, didn't work out. Online they couldn't offer it and even over the phone saying best deal right now is 40gb for £25 a month

Yes - just tried it - got nowhere.
I got offered it over online chat no questions asked.

however they don’t do MAX on sim only any more.

Still up to 60mbps which is decent. MAX is up to 90mbps which is only in certain places anyway
    Best network by a mile
I've just added a Max plan for a month to cover a trip to the States. Only added it this week, nothing was said about stopping Max plans?
Woah. I got 10gb for £17, told that I would have to add a £10 booster to cover my upcoming US trip. SNOTTY CUSTOMER CALL COMING UP TOMORROW METHINKS.

definitely! i got given the 10gb £17 deal but then found the below thread so went straight on ee chat and got 25gb for £16... hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/33503517

They should just give everyone access to the same deals, not do different under the counter deals for whoever complains the most

I got the same deal from them the other week. Two lines with 25Gb @ £16. Was also offered the 40Gb @ £20 deal but it was a bit too much for mine or even my data happy teenage son's needs.

I had a week left on the 30 day cancellation period when taking this deal. Naturally the cancellation date should've been removed when recommitting, but low and behold both lines went off on what would've been the old cancellation date. Rang CS who sorted the problem and offered me one month free on each line plus a generous £15 for having to go round my mum and dad's and use their landline to contact them.

I'm not sure exactly how long the BT Sport offer is for. But the snag is you must watch it on your phone and cannot connect to the TV. Also not sure about whether I can use my allowances in America or not. But then again I don't particularly plan on going there this year. I've never travelled further than Turkey before!
A great deal; I'm currently on the 30GB Max Plan for £5 (£25 full price but with 20% Student Discount & £15 loyalty discount).

I do wish I had gotten some sims on the £5 error deal the others got last year though

I guess that once a contract is offered at £5 or whatever, when that contract ends you can just continue with that sim at the £5 cost for basically infinity?

Bleh I remember those deals as well.

It’s a normal sim only but with all the benefits of max plan. It’s it’s a max plan in all but name.

You will not get any benefit for your loyalty. I too was with them since mid 1990s, they offered me no discounts worth mentioning here. Cut the cord and got a far better deal elsewhere. I was more sad about it than they were.

Just to reiterate - you’re regarded no better than a customer who is coming to the end of their first year.

I've managed to get the 40gb for £20, happy with that. Was told that the US roaming is absolutely not available unless you're doing a handset upgrade as well, so I haven't lucked out as much as the OP, but I'll cross my US data needs in a few months when I travel.
What advantages does this deal have over the £18 for 40GB from Virgin Media ?

You can also combine this deal with 20% off through uni days or privilege card. So now I’m paying £16 a month for this.
