Posting from mobile so bare with me please!

I'm currently on a 16GB Data unlimited mins&texts for £20 however I'm coming to end of my 12 months contract so have contacted EE via 150 from my number and they have offered me 4GB data plan with unlimited mins&texts for £9.99 (they price match it because I told them about my partner being on Three £9 for 4GB data unlimited mins&texts)

Is this a good offer?

Has anyone been offered this or even better deal?

Let me know, thanks!

OP, as this stands, this isn't an offer as it's not available to anyone but you. You need to add "retention offer" in the title. Personally, I'd prefer this sort of thing to have a separate section or at least be posted elsewhere on the site - you could've posted in the "ask" section if you were after advice - that would be my suggestion.
so, it's a quarter of the data for half the price. It's a pretty rubbish deal methinks. Go back on tell them your leaving unless they can give you a better price on your original deal.
3 offered me unlimited calls and texts with 20gb of data for £18 last week (i have my son on 3). It was for another family member if I wanted it, I knocked it back.
You have 16GB now, paying £20 per month. It'd be worth checking exactly how much data you actually need in order to make a decision. Even with a lot of streaming, I typically use just over 3.5GB per month.

The 'Unlimited' texts and minutes are less important and more of a gimmick for 'most' people given phones are increasingly used more for streaming music/ media and managing mail rather than making calls... So it's really the data requirement that drives whether a deal is in fact a deal.

Try billmonitor.com to get a check up and see what options are out there to give you leaverage when negotiating with EE. Staying with the incumbent provider is worthwhile (less hassle than switching and porting numbers) assuming you can haggle a package to suit you.
I have paid £16 for 18gb for the last 18 months. this isn't a bad deal if you use less than 4gb. a couple more, say 6gb and I'd go for it.
Well plusnet are offering exactly this for £10pm on a 30day rolling. Plusnet is owned by BT and EE is owned by BT so same same but certainly worth getting a better deal.
    Plusnet deal is miles better
    Pointless posting a retention' deal'

Just had a look at that, thought it was a great idea, but it asks for the mobile number, username and password of your online mobile account! Don't like the sound of a 3rd party using that full info.
Worse deal than plusnet and three so cold...

Appreciate that and I had the same concerns initially - however it's totally legitimate. Founded by Oxford University professors and endorsed by Which? I've been using it for a few years. Maybe not for everyone but I find it really useful.
