EE Retention Deal - Unlimited Calls, Unlimited Texts, 5GB 4G Data £09.99 - 12 Month Contract

Hi Guys,
Got this deal today from the EE Retentions Team:

Unlimited Calls
Unlimited Texts
5GB of 4G Data
Free Voicemail
Free 080 Numbers Included
12 Month Contract
Sim Only Deal
£09.99 a month

What I did to get this deal was ask for my PAC code, which they gave to me. Then the next morning I got a phone call from a chap from T-Mobile saying he is high up in retentions and they want to reward me for my 5 years of loyalty to T-Mobile. His actual words were "Tell me what you want and how much you want pay" he couldn't offer me unlimited data for £09.99 but highest he could do was 5GB of data which I'm happy with.

I told him I was leaving for TalkTalk who are offering 2000 minutes, unlimited texts, and 4GB of data for £10 a month. Just thought I'd update you all and tell you what to say to get it.

I can confirm this works for me too. It is actually one of the latest deal that just came out yesterday from EE, according to the staff...

Bah, just got sim delivered today that arose from a renewal/cancellation call, paying same £9.99 only getting 250/u/l texts, 1gb data.

Can we cancel this, and still request the PAC code or renegotiate the deal we got?

Nb existing contract ran to 27th Jan, presume the new one (12m) starts as soon as I put the sim in the phone.

With EE, you get a 14 Day grace/cancellation period. Ring them to cancel or see if you can change tariff.

In my experience they just give you the PAC and send you on your way!!

Retention...... yawn

they are saying that the deal doesn't exist.
they said they would need a mobile number to verify the deal, not sure if you would be able to private message me your number?

Went through this yesterday..non existent deal for most..might be exclusive to select few.

Ask for your PAC code then wait for the phone call from T-Mobile. I wasn't offered this deal every time I called them.

In November 2013 I got 12 months free T-Mobile SIMO deal (was a scorcher here on HUKD) and on renewal they automatically extended free deal for another 12 months. I don't know how did this happen, I certainly didn't pester retentions and I'm not going to call them until December now

As with the other thread, no proof of this deal at all. I tried the other day even with PAC code and best was 1gb 4g. Sim arrived today. Don't think that 5gb is true

Happy to upload a pic of my first phone bill to confirm. Did actually get 5GB of 4G Data.

I got UNL Calls / texts and 10gb on EE for £14pm in November so they defiantly can negotiate the price and tariff.

Mine was detentions too, original contact was with T-Mobile

Irrelevant, retention deals are customer specific.Just because you got a deal doesn't mean everybody can.

May be dependent on how many years you've been a customer with them for.

See above, first comment on this post. Another person has also got this deal so defo not a one off deal.

Last month I picked up unlimited calls and texts, 2gb of 4G data for £11.99. That was without getting PAC code so if u try it I wouldn't be surprised if they did offer this. Because of work patterns I always miss their call so wasn't worth the hassle.

Horrible company, got my pac code from them last week. This is a good deal, but I would still decline.

i get 8GB and all of the above mentioned for 11.99£ a month on a 12 month retention contract.

I currently have a free contract as last year I negotiated a discount and they forgot to take off the previous years discounts. I'm hoping this will happen again. Although t-mobile 3g has gone more and more useless since ee came out

Oh my goodness, I cancelled in October and was charged £10 for cancelling outside of THE 3 days

I have a business sim - called today and was offered the regular deals available online - no discounts and was given my PAC...

I rang as my contract has just finished was not offered this although put through to retention , I asked for pac code and was given it , the next day they rang with a offer of £9.99 for unlimited text/min and 2 gb data ,

I rang asked for PAC code and was offered £9.99 with 200 mins, unlimited text and 1gb (4g) data. I tried to push for 2gb but they refused Now looking for a new deal

Excellent deal.

I phoned up, asked for my PAC.

The next day I got a call from a special team, I asked about this deal and was given it.

I don't see why all the cold, just cause your contract isn't up don't hate. Look at it from the point of view of someone's who's contract is up.

So happy with this, what do you think happens in 12 months? Now they have us off our T mobile contracts, do you think we will get stiffed? Or you think we can say the same in 12 months and continue getting this deal for another 12 months?

I will try tomorrow! I've been with Tmobile for more than 6 years now...

Tried this with Orange/EE last night as im out of my contract. (12+ years with them).

Said they had no knowledge of this deal. Would love to give me it but the "system" doesnt have it there.
Took my PAC and said i will think over what they have offered......

Rang them today and they only offered what was online... he didn't even try to keep my service and gave me a pac code straight away.

Yes this deal is not on the system.

Once you get you PAC code you need to wait for the call, should be within 24-48 hours.

When or if you get the call you will know.

I think they are only choosing valued/loyal customers.

No call back after 48 hours. Been with them 12+ years. Not too fussed as reception at my house is very patchy.

Bring on O2 ::D

You sure about that? 3 taking over o2.....

Aware of the take over. Reception on both here are much better than EE.

Probably wont even be done during the 12 month SIM only.

Deal is still active. Got this through retentions today. Unlimited minutes and texts, 5gb of 4G data with free calls to 08 numbers for £9.99pm for 12 months. EU roaming is not included though. Also, to my surprise, I received the best customer service I've had for a long time.

Might give them a call back and see before i change over next week.

They still claimed that the deal doesnt exist lol.

Same here, the best offer I could get was £10 a month 250 minutes with 1 gig of data.

Well i gave them one last ditch call at the weekend. I have been with EE/Orange 12+ years and they said they dont want me to leave. However they cannot offer me the 5GB "Deal" as retentions said it doesnt exist lol.

Never get any call backs from them, so looks like i will be leaving them for O2. Works out cheaper for me so not fussed. Would have been nice to stay though.
