Rang ee upgrades to see what deal they could offer me when I said I wasn't happy paying for the phone they passed me to retentions told me about this deal but wanted 79.99 up front cost for the handset then came back and said I could have the handset free! May be worth a try if your thinking of 'leaving'! Only thing I had to pay was 6.98 delivery charge over the phone but handset is arriving tomorrow!

lucky you this is an awesome deal

I have just entered my upgrade period. To say the offered deal was rubbush was an understatement. Got another 2 weeks until i can cancel, will keep this deal in mind for when i ring.

EE is better than O2 = HOT

was the contract for a year or 2?

thefinest1

was the contract for a year or 2?

Quite obvious that it is for a 2 year contract otherwise total sum would be less than £360 over a 1 year period.

Hot from me nonetheless.

to get this kind of deal, you need to ask for you're PAC and someone should call you back with in 24 hours .

if you ask for you're PAC, EE should call u back within 24 hours asking what it would take for you to sign up again

It is obvious. The phone costs £619. Why would EE give it for £29.75 for 12 months?

Your quotes by Mark Twain won't save you..

Good deal I'd be pleased if I was you .

Excellent deal - I've just upgraded with Vodafone - free 64GB iPhone 6, unlimited minutes, unlimited texts but with 4GB 4G data at £27.00 per month.

Why the cold votes?

After I was quoted the original price from upgrades I did say I would like my PAC code to move to another network and then offered me this!

It was obviously wishful thinking on your part chap!

EE were never going to have offered the iPhone 6 for £29.75 on a 12 month contract. Their new owners (BT) would just love that kind of charitable ethos

All these guys make a lot from us so can afford large shops on expensive sites
We are left feeling conned by the phone company just had a Bill from bt for £70 for a few 30 minute calls locally and a handful to mobiles
They had deleted the anytime and answerphone options and never sent the sainsbury vouchers
Anyone feeling robbed

I've been trying to upgrade for days found the website sends me round in circles, the store didn't help and neither did online chat.. Will try and get through to retentions tomorrow and hope I can get through its worth a shot...

No, just looking for a deal on the iPhone 6 - first they mentioned the 16GB, I said that wasn't suitable and as they don't do a 32GB 6 it would have to be the 64GB. I told them I wanted that package, depending on the cost and bizarrely they offered it to me immediately at £27.00, without any bartering! However what followed was constant stress and phone calls as they kept cancelling the order then rearranging it only for it to be cancelled again! I was told I'd have to wait for them to listen to the phone call to confirm the deal as offered but then, when I called them again, someone with a bit of logic/customer service/honesty actually gave me the deal as originally promised - as they should have in the first place! Good luck - I hope you don't have to go through what I went through to actually receive what was arranged!

Hi me and my husband have contract with three, my husband contract is about to finish in this week we went to upgrade it but they asked for £54 monthly paiment for iphone 6 plus. We came back and wanted to search any other network which costs less. Any one has an idea a deal for new customers.

Just tried this and got no where near your deal, they said the best they could do was £48 a month with £100 upfront!

Damn good deal whys it so cold in here

Its cold because its an individual retention deal that no one else will be able to get, it's why people have been saying things like "lucky for you". People remember all those stupid Sky ones that kept popping up and they kept going cold too because they arent a deal for anyone other than the OP who I agree got a great deal and was lucky.

Was on a 24 month deal Iphone 5 16gb unlimited minutes and texts and 10gb 4g data for 47.99pm

I too am due a renewal. Contacted EE today & spoke to upgrades then retentions. Wasn't offered anything NEAR as good as this. In fact the deal I was offered was even worse than when I contacted them in March! I'll see if I hear from them as I did request a PAC code, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. EE offered £349 upfront cost & £48.50 per month

Worse than what they offered me which I though was bad.
Just rang trhem now and mentioned the deal on Mobiles.co.uk@ £23.50pm
Best the retention team could offer me for £23.50 was £349 upfront. I declined and they didn't even bother to negotiate.

Good deal though OP.

Moving over to Three PAYG, hopefully there will be some decent deals on iPhone 6 in coming weeks/months. The £23.50/month & £80 upfront was excellent deal but wasn't right for me as EE have poor signal indoors but I've just found out they're launching something whereby signal can be boosted via WiFi so I may stay with them if there's a good enough deal.

I called them to ask for my PAC, I'm on a sim only £18.99 a month deal, they offered me a 64gb iPhone 6 for £120 and £38.49 for 4gb double data with unlimited mins/texts, told them I'll think about it and going to call back to try and haggle some more!

It's a retention deal, not a standard tariff or offer. They are generally offered based on the specific subscribers profit/cost/etc analysis. There may also be some leeway at that specific moment for that call agent to retain a certain number of customers.

As an example if you live somewhere with network congestion, the competition are know to have poor coverage, you make full use of your allowances, never go outside your allowance, you regularly ask for a PAC code but never leave, have an average credit rating, etc...... You'd have sod all chance of getting this offer.

However, it's still worth posting retention deals IMO, as they are a good benchmark for what can be extracted in ideal circumstances. But people have to keep in mind that it's just an indication not something you will definitely be able to achieve.

I work for EE retentions and have never seen this kind of deal in my life. All tariffs either end in .99 or .49 so there must be some kind of percentage discount on here. Seems like a friends and family 40% discount or something. This isn't a deal retentions will be able to offer and that department give maximum credits to customers.
