Would imagine so. Bought one last weekend through fast track for 25 quid.

Any idea how much cost to unlock?

looked yesterday when I fast tracked this at £24.99, it's only £1.75 to unlock

NICE

Memory information 1MB???

If EE wifi calling was available on this model stocks would fly

Ordered via Fast track.... pay now and pick up in store without having to add top up

£19.99 .... cex offer around £15-17

got one of these and the battery life is terrible in my opinon oO

Bought one of these at £24.99, unlocked it and using it as a 4G mifi

I'm still using a first generation San Francisco phone...don't judge me...will this be much of an improvement, the battery life on my SF is pretty damn great?

wow....so you're the one.

so many of us cut our android rooting teeth with that phone

This was posted within the last two weeks. Its by far the best handset at that price point for anyone who doesn't want to spend £100 for a cracking handset

bought one, fast track, so paid 19.99, included a sim inside with £10 credit.. bargain..

1gb ram is an improvement but i'd suggest spending a little more if possible...

In fact just get a Moto E 2nd gen around £40-50 if you're lucky - That is the best budget mobile around currently with great battery, very responsive and Android 6 marshmallow... If not 1st gen Moto G is still great and possible for £35-40 used in good condition

Is this actually useable? I am contemplating it as a backup smart phone.

i would say perfect backup / holiday / gig phone.

basic screen, 1gb ram, android 5.1. would do the job well.

I've just added Automagic and another app for a few quid to make an 'emergency/panic' phone for a elderly person. Not to be used as a conventional smartphone by them, they just pull out a headphone jack, and the phone...
- emails/txts loved ones with location etc.
- includes a photo automatically taken from front and one from rear camera (in case it helps with location)
- will auto-answer incoming calls and automatically switch on the speakerphone from selected numbers

For £20'ish I can't think of a more cost effective way to do this. How else could I get a relatively small easily programmable battery powered device with loads of sensors/camera/3G and Wifi/GPS/screen/etc.all built-in? Eat your heart out Arduino/Pi :-)

Guessing eBay.

You buy the listing. They email you for details and then email you back a code.

Once you put your new sim in, put in code and sorted!

Just got it - decent backup phone. Quite fast if you avoid installing take many apps, even Minecraft runs OK. The screen is terrible.

Now there is a sim card included, does it already have the 10 pound starter pack on it?

But you HAVE to pay the £10 credit on the SIM using that route :-S

You would at argros too if you bought in store I put so people have a choice, EE store might be more convenient than Argos for some people.

I suspect you got a SIM on the £10 plan but unless you got an eTopup receipt I am pretty sure you didn't get the credit too.

Nice. Just ordered through fast track £19.99. It's gonna be a dedicated mp3 player.

I'm pretty certain you won't have got the £10 credit on the sim. But if you find that you have, could you let us know.

The sim was inside the box, I had no idea and did expect it at all..

Thanks Willy, but earlier glitch meant the 5.1 was missing. what other appreciated with automatic did you use?

wibbly even

I think the "£10" SIM is available in a number of places for 1p. So a nice bonus, but not really a big difference.

My bad... It's a empty sim, zero balance .. Oh well, no loss, it's a great phone and probably the best at this price range ☺️
