Been on a sim only deal with EE for past 12 months. Phoned them to ask about a further 12 month contract on sim only and told £15.99 for unlimited calls / texts and 2GB data per month. However on the website it says there is a special offer for existing customers where this package is reduced to £12.99 per month- Customer Services agreed and I'm signed up for a further 12 months. Not for everyone but may help some others on here, I thought it was a good deal.

Or, sign-up for a new contract at £15.99 per month directly from their website and use the code 'MSE95SIMO' for a free £95 Amazon Voucher.

Paying out a total of £191.88 for the 12 months and getting back a £95 voucher - effective cost is £8.07 per month.

Three are doing 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 2gb 4G data for £11 a month. I also phoned them up and got 2000 3-3 minutes. couldn't stick with EEs customer service any longer.

If I understand it correctly, existing customers can pay 12.99 a month and still get that voucher (from http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/phones/mobile-phone-cost-cutting):
- Who can get it? New customers to EE mobile (defined as anyone who hasn’t had an EE mobile contract in the past 12 months). Existing EE mobile customers can also get this deal but only by taking it as a second line.

All 4 of the family are with EE and all are now out of contract, so it's tempting to do this.
Would there be any problems porting the existing EE number across to the new contract?

Offers can't be combined. Just tried it online and get an "invalid voucher" error on second lines

My understanding of the £95 Amazon voucher offer is that it is for new contracts - you cannot port over your existing number of you are already with EE, otherwise that offer for me would have been a no brainer. I will use that offer for the wife as she is on a different network. For those people in a similar situation to me (existing EE customer, wants to keep phone number, on sim only) then I believe the offer I have posted is pretty good in my view. So no point in voting cold unless you can compare like for like circumstances.

I was offered this deal from EE when I called them but held off to search for similar tariffs with other networks.

Found this deal from mobiles.co.uk on O2 here on hukd:
hotukdeals.com/dea…604

I went for the £7.49 (with redemption) option which gives the same tariff as offered by EE. plus I used TCB to get £10.10 cashback for the deal which tracked within a few hours.

I plan to keep my current number, so I will be contacting O2 when I receive my SIM to give then my pac code.

Hope this helps some of you with your decision.

Port your number from your current EE contract to a free PAYG sim card on a different network and then port it back to your new EE contract at £15.99/month with the £95 Amazon voucher.

It's slightly more effort, but it saves £60.

Can you shed a bit more light about you calling customer service and getting 2000mins... How did you do this and why did they give to you? Cheers!

How you get the 2000 mate?

I am currently on the said deal. It also includes unlimited 080 minutes( though t&c mentions that is for one 080 number per month). The unlimited minutes include calls to 200/300 unique numbers per month(from ee t&c)

My advice if you are at the end of your contract is to consider this deal.
