Just rang EE to give 30 day leaving notice and they offered the retention deal for £3.99. It includes 250 min, 500 texts and 500 mb data. For someone with low usage, this is a great deal
i pay £6 ang get 500 mins, unlim texts and 1gb internet 30 day rolling on ee
i pay 9.99 and get 500 mins and 3.5 gb 4g data..
Nice deal! I just rang them myself and best they offered was 250 mins 250 mb for £8 - so just took the pac code
Got two lines with EE upgraded recently: 1) 1000 mins, 4GB 4G data, 1 month rolling - £7.49 pm 2) 2000 mins, 5GB 4G data, 1 month rolling - £9.99 pm

That annoys me slightly because I phoned up on Friday about my two lines. Got offered exactly the same as you but for £4.99/month. I took it.
The other line I was offered 2000 mins, 2GB 4G data, 1 month rolling for £13. Took the PAC code in the end.

I was once told it depended on the amount of incoming minutes you have. More minutes cheaper contract.
I was told once by tmobile that I couldn't have a loyalty discount as I'd run out.
They were right, as my lack of loyalty meant I left them

Sounds the same as the deal they offered me & I took but for some reason I've managed to save 1p a month.
they'll tell you you've won the lottery if it will get you to stay, just don't expect to go smoothly. The wrong tariff on your account, the wrong amount taken, the allowances different, have i missed anything?

Ee are currently paying me 50 pounds a month to use their network. Unlimited everything. Plus they give me a private jet on the weekends. I'll be asking them to add a stately home when my contract is coming to an end. If they mess me around I'm gonna get a PAC code.
I got £4.99 for 250min, unlimited text, 500MB (12 months contract)
Still got their free contract, for which I'm paying about 30p/month now. 250 minutes / 500 text / 500MB
I get 1000min unlimited texts 3gb data for £1.67 a month
Hhmm, was going to post I thought it was a good deal, however reading some of the comments I think I will have to ring them to sort my deal out
Cancelled a line with them on an ex-TM £27 a month, offered nothing except the PAC!
Got the pack code yesterday and received a phone call today.
£11.99 P/M (unlimited minutes & text + 4GB).
I also added unlimited 08 number's cost £3.00 per/month. Which brings the cost to £14.99 per/month.
Out of interest how much were you paying and for what? i.e. if you over payed for a fair while you may have well built up a degree of good credit, so much that they would want to retain you.
This may differ for other people I suspect, based upon my recent conversation about retention/upgrades when I tried ask what upgrade was available moving from monthly sim only to a monthly plan & an android phone with a decent camera (the only requirement). Not the same as you posted, but might try for this sim only deal and it would increase the budget for the phone.
Bt offer £5 sim 200 mins unlimited texts 500 mb data
Was expecting a follow up call after requesting my PAC code a few days ago, but nothing. Doesn't particularly bother me as I can go to TPO, just surprises me that some people are offered the moon on a stick and others absolutely nothing.

Spoke to ee and looks like you can get it. If you have a current line dont call from that. Get a ee pay and go sim and call up upgrade team. This offer, they can only see when you have a payn go sim. If you call from a sim which is already or coming to an end they wont be able to see it.
So get a sim and call them. They wouldnt tell me when it ends however their system normally refreshes on deals between 24 and 48h

I hear that. I. Got the same. So bunged the sim in the car phone (doesn't have Bluetooth), so it suites me for now.
Most retention deals like this tend to be unique. You can't ring them up saying I want X tariff because I heard someone else got it. I'll be very surprised if someone on here rings up and gets this offer.
You have to give notice to cancel and ask for pac code. A few days later you will be contacted by a retention team with more leeway to offer deals like this. I was offered this deal but for £6 which is still fine for me.
Is this a 30 day or is it 12 , 18, 24 months contract?

I had two phones on sim-only with Orange - rang to get PAC codes and was offered 500mins 1000texts and 500Meg data for £7.49 pm for each phone. Argued for more data but they wouldn't budge so took the PAC code. Didn't get a call back a few days later like I have done in the past, so rang again to try and strike a better deal but that's all that they would offer. Couldn't find anything better, so took it. We were only on the £8.99pm deal on the orange contract, so I guess it depends how much they have made out of you in the past and how much you're likely to go over minutes, texts and data on the new contract as to what you'll be offered.
Seems in line with my current retention deal:
£3/month rolling 100mins unlimited texts 1gb internet

Is it possible to get a similar deal if I'm thinking of joining EE?

Sounds good... So if I buy a Pay and Go SIM then phone them up from that they will be able to offer me a better upgrade offer on my CURRENT contract line (important for me to retain my number) ???
