Ok phoned up for a deal. Told them about BT 20gb call and text and by sports for £15.00
They can match it but not on Max plan. Then offered me 30GB all in max + sports for £17.99. Should of been 41.99 Sold. I'm happy with it so if you like then ask. 🖒🖒

lol.....Data isn't about value, it's cost versus requirement.

Unless you tether around your house with 4G on that 100GB a month and pay £0 for TV, your argument is shocking.

Nice deal OP, voted hot.

Anyway to get this or similar as a new customer?

Yet he's paying FAR less than you for what HE wants.
With added content - is that 'very poor value' ?

Contracted for how many months?

Not watched TV in 10 years, I rely on EE for my internet via a 4G WiFi hub.

I'm also on this deal - £18 for 30GB. Where else can you get 30GB for £18? Not sure how you calculate the 'value' the customer gets here. By your own point, you're paying £33 per month for 100GB (BTW, how many minutes do you get?). I've got absolutely no need for that (as presumably does the OP) so therefore have no intention of paying £33 per month when I don't need it - in my opinion your deal is a very 'poor deal' for this UK customer.

On the other hand if I was looking for a mobile broadband deal with huge amounts of data then I would consider your deal to be good.

TLDR: don't assume what you consider to be valuable the same thing as what I consider to be valuable. It's easy to know the cost of something; less easy to know the value of something.

Yes, poor value.

Guys for me this is a great deal. I'm sure others will get better deals. I stream a lot so 30gb will help. Calls and texts standard nowadays and the sports is a free bonus. To me it's a giveaway at £216.00 a year....

Sim only 12 months

EE should offer this to new customers not only retention.
I have been with TMobile/EE for over 15 years and they wouldnt even give me a decent upgrade/deal for more 4G data.

Finally Black Friday deals to be had from Virgin. EE desperately tried to keep my custom when i asked for a PAC code.
Told em to shove all their offers where the sun dont shine.

Pardon me for interupting, anyway to get the deal as a new customer? Retentions only or a possible deal to be had from sales team? Thanks!

So how does your logic become relevant then when the deal ISN'T data alone?
Man gets sport (effective cost £10-15 standalone) plus 30GB for £17.99.

EE don't offer a 100GB option online and, their 50GB is £30.50 online (61p/GB) making EE worse than the OPs deal.

Alltaken I think it's retention only but as they say don't ask don't get.

Yawn...

Hot deal.

I am having same issue, seems to good to be true to get 12 months BT sport free as well.Going to wait now for New year deals.

£41. For a sim only plan ? I’m on unlimited calls and texts and 10GB for an iPhone 7 Plus 128 GB

I’ve battled my way to 20GB for £17 - 12 month sim only, No sport and standard 4G.Even then the sales agent had to authorise the deal with a manager

All is not so good when trying to join EE from new.

Try different times. Happen to me as well.

I tried to get this last week for £15 last week but £17.99 was the best they could do. I asked for my PAC. Greedy I know but some on here say it can be done.

ee seem to be one of those rare companies that offer better deals to existing customers than new.

I joined as a new customer on max with the £100 mastercard offer and hoping to strike a good retention deal next year to save the hassle of moving again

EE speeds in London so much faster than three and roaming will be 4g in some places vs the dial up speeds three had started serving up.

Less data for the same money but then just buy as much as you need

Hi can anyone help me please I'm new to this site and am trying to buy the ee sim deal with 30gb all in + sports for £17.99 12 month contract and when I click the deal button it takes me to ee website! I then called the ee number and they sad nothing to do with us please can someone advise how I can buy this asap

Got the same deal from Retentions ....30gig with calls and Txt plus BT sport for 12 months , was out of contract told them about the 3 30gig deal .....no hassles they agreed . Makes me think I could have got it cheaper.

You need to mention other companies deals when talking to them... Say you considered XXX deal which is better than what they have to offer and should get the deals unlocked. Go through to retention if you can even if you aren't we customer. Worth a go.

It is a retention deal, existing customers only at end of their contract.

Don't need to be at end of contract...

Im in a sim only contract due to end in January, i called them and told them i want to cancel and i just got this offer
Heat added

I got this offer at the end of last month. At the time there was a £100 card offer too (will be sent after 30 days). I wasn't aware this was part of the package so when the text came through I was delighted! Unfortunately it should arrive a few days after Christmas otherwise that'd have been my wife's Christmas sorted

Good deal OP, my EE retention deal is £17 for 15GB max plan and I'm happy.

If you need a second sim for 9.99 they will add a sharer sim to use

Listen Everyone, we are less than one month away from our old faithful deal. All those that say EE don't give good deals need to come in here for 5 days between Jan 8th - 13th I predict we will get the 30gb deal on a rolling contract or the 20gb deal with unlimited everything else for similar. I have successfully doubled both my Sims so it wasn't a fluke the first time in fact the second time because I'm putting 26.50 to them every month without a phone they had a hard on giving me the deal. EE love customers like me. The only problem is that I'm on such a good deal now it's hard to go to anything else only the virgin 40 for a tenner is comparable but I need 64 GB and could do with more for my russian sopcast football
