Can cancel Vodafone fairly easy
I pay this on Voxi but get unlimited social media.
12 months BT (if you have a BT account) £15 - 40GB / unlimited mins and texts + TCB. Equiv of £9.10 currently with £80 TCB.

It was £90 TCB when I got it, so around 8.33 + BT Sport via App.

I originally went with the Vodafone sim only at about 8.50... but the signal was shocking. So thankfully went with BT/EE. Same dif

Me too - feels like you don't need to haggle like you used to! Also offered me £8 for 6GB.

Not very good deal. I got at Christmas 60Gb and unlimited calls and texts for £10.

I’ve posted this comment on different threads since I got the deal, others have said EE have agreed it without a problem new and existing. Often depends on who you speak with unfortunately.

The last week I ordered a 3rd sim only (we got already an unlimited one 24 months linked to the P40 Pro plus a 60gb one 18 months since July) 250mb which will be discounted to £8.50pm, do you think I might have a chance to negotiate with CS by asking 10gb instead of 250mb and by threatening to cancel this 3rd sim within the 14 cooling period unless they agree?

Beware I think this is a simple plan which does not come with roaming...important for those still travelling in the current climate.

Also I think they restrict your bandwidth to 10mbps.

But if both of these don't bother you then good deal.

VOXI and Lebara both used the Vodafone network so you can often bet identical coverage but cheaper prices.
Is this 5G enabled?
bcs119/08/2020 13:30

EE told me all their plans are

yes all new plans are
heads up if anybody takes the new 5g swappable plan ee the bt ultimate does not include big screen access

not bad.

I got 12gb, unlimited mins and texts with three for 8gbp the other per month (12m contract sim only).

Originally went for a similar mobilephonesdirect deal with £20 cashback but after realising that the PAC code only works with CHANGING networks (already on three!) and that keeping my number was going to be an epic FAFF, with a month's worth of downtime while they switch my sim to PAYG, then transition the account across.. the guy offered me the same deal without the faff Just using the live chat on the app.

Still though, mine was a one-off really, good deal here! EE are probably a bit better than three too in terms of speed etc. (been on EE before)

Thanks! Appreciate the advice and feedback. Currently on BT and coverage for me has been awesome. Might go with this EE deal as its better value.

Months work of downtime?!?

It can be done in a few days and a week at most.
got this deal 2 months ago through uswitch, probably more than enough for most users. heat

Tried that last week, said a ‘friend’ had recently got that deal and I wanted an extra sim for offspring. They wouldn’t budge and would only offer me the extra sim for £8 pm with 250Mb data and to just keep gifting more.

Seemed like a lot of hassle. Worth calling them up again?

I had to call twice but I was an existing customer at the time, I hate all this it’s dependent on who you speak with BS, first guy was pretty rude, second person was great, I had two sims and added two more all at 10gb/£8.

Can I ask where you got this info? Their website suggests not all plans are – only ‘5G ready’ ones.

Also on the phone they told me the lower data plans (non-Max) are restricted to 60MB, which suggests they wouldn’t be using 5G?

Is that not right?
Rang up (SIM only out of contract) and was told that these deals can't be done for existing customers.

Asked about being put through to disconnections (i.e. retentions) for a PAC code and they say they don't have a disconnections department anymore and they will just give you the PAC code themselves once requested.

Edit: Tried again with a different staff member and no better, just got sent the PAC code.

Good deal for those that can get it, but for me that's 45 minutes of my life I'm never getting back

proper usage of a PAC code can be that fast, yeah -but this wasn't what was needed here. PAC code is to swap network as a direct handover... didn't dawn on me at the time that this was'nt what i needed... but he way saying they'd have to let my current contract stop, then switch my sim to PayG to then open it up again to be transitioned to the new account/plan. 30 day notice needed for the former step.

Ahh yes I see your point.... The link does need changing to the uSwitch site 🏼
I am an existing customer. Last time this deal was on...

EE upgrades refused to match.

Ordered using the uswitch code on the EE website as a new customer (if you add a line, it won't allow you to use another code).

EE flagged I was an existing customer, received message to call them.

Nice lady looked at the deal, added two lines using the deal onto my existing account.
