EE/ TMOBILE Retention Deal

25
Found 7th Apr 2015
I have been a long suffering T-mobile customer, i'd been due an upgrade for quite some time - called up, spoke to their upgrade team who offered some very poor deals (could have easily found something better online).

I then requested my PAK code. The following day I received a call from 0845412711 - the EE/Tmob retention team. Offering unlim minutes, unlim texts & 5GB 4G net - I accepted.

You *must* follow these steps, the upgrade team offer AWFUL deals, don't accept unless you like getting ripped off. Its when they call you in desperation - you actually wind up getting a good deal. Make sure you get that PAK code, show them whos boss

Hi, is this deal is been offered by them or you ask for this. I have 2 line with them already taken the pak code. Today I have received call from them, but I was busy at work, they sent me email to contact with offer..

Forgot to mention , I am with orange from 7 years..

I have been looking for something similar, upgrade team have been terrible. Will give this a try, thanks.

Should have asked to be put on the Talk 1200, providing you dont spend that long on the phone and definitely worth it if your tethering.

1200 mins, U/L text and U/L data (with no fair use policy)

I was offered that after telling them i was leaving although i do pay £15 for it.

Not a deal IMO sorry. This isn't going to be offered to all, will depend on what contract you've been on.... Your loyalty rating as a customer.... Who you speak to etc etc etc

Its a PAC BTW Porting Authority Code. Not a porting authority code code as some like to call it

I Agree with blueroo.

got my PAC yesterday had a missed call from that number today will wait till they ring back and see what I can get offered

You're wasting your time, it's not a PIN number either and APN is just wrong also! ;-)

it will only be 3G if the offer is on Orange or T-Mobile, you would have to move to EE to get the 4G.

Actually there is a question as to whether acronyms become proper nouns eventually, and depending on how you answer that question PIN number and PAC code are both perfectly valid expressions - after all, the PIN is a number, and the PAC is a code. If the words 'PIN' and 'PAC' are names rather than abbreviations, then there is no real duplication. (For example, the name 'TARDIS' is an acronym, but it's also ver clearly a proper noun.)

They move you to ee with this contract

Question for jane0512 how much you paying for that deal?

Not sure if its 4G no need for me to ask as i live near Elgin, approx 150 miles from the nearest 4G connection.

Contract term is my original run out date, as i am getting the change midway through my current 2 year deal as they "mis-informed" me at the time of my renewal and i said its either that (talk 1200) or im ending my contract for free and going to '3'

Good point well made, may not be an issue for some but the T+Cs will be different and no doubt you'll be more liable to constant yearly price increases in-line with RPI.

I got my PAC code yesterday.
As an Ex T-mobile customer,I had a CRACKER of a SIM only deal. 600 minutes 600 texts, with unlimited Data at under £7pm (included £5 Loyalty discount) but now it's fully an EE "service" for want of a better word, and the Loyalty discount has gone out the window, along with my custom.

I can get a better deal from VIRGIN MOBILE.1000 minutes, unlimited text, but only 500MB of Data for £8,if a VM customer (TV/Phone/Internet etc) £13 if not,on a 30 day rolling contract, and the joke is,they (Virgin) use the EE network.

That's ALMOST as funny as the time I switched banks from Lloyd's to Halifax (Opposite each other in the High street),and Halifax (part OWNED by Lloyd's) paid me £100

Has anyone gone through retentions lately and got this deal?

Just got my PAC from T-Mobile. Offered me unlimited texts and mins with 5gb for £15.55 wouldn't budge on the price.

Let's wait and see if they call with any offers.

That's right mate, the best they offered me was £9.99 for 500 mins, unl texts and 1GB data or £12.99 for Unl mins & texts with 2GB data.

i was happy with T-mobile,but when EE took over,EVERYthing that was good about T-Mobile went out the window. Now EE have compleated the switch,T-Mobile is gone, and so have I.

The joke is,that a number of other Mobile phone companies (Virgin Media for example) run off the EE network, but do better deals than EE. Get yer PAC code,do yer homework and DUMP EE.It's about the ONLY language these Companies understand
