Although its complaints continued to decline following a peak in October 2012, they are still almost double the industry average. Had tried to sign up with EE but sales person rude and unhelpful. No info on call charges, especially 0871 and 08452 numbers. Was quoted £1 per minute, which can't be right. He said I will get info once I signed up. Don't trust a company which doesn't make full T&C available before I sign. Can just imagine how their CS is after I signed. No thank you. Not voting, btw.

Wow.

One of the cheapest providers. But the worst customers services I have ever dealt with.
Just had a problem with our line, rang customer services, in India, after 29 minutes gave up trying to understand the person on the other end of the phone.
Phoned customer complaints dept in England somewhere, after being transferred to 3 different people ended up back at the Indian call centre. Spent 1hr 24mins in total. Turned out the fault on our line was their faulty equipment at the exchange. If the fault is found at your home they charge you £60.
If our package wasn't so cheap I would change tomorrow.

I'm not too sure, I used a payg number and it applied the discount but I've had that one for a few years but after looking at the offer it just says you need a ee, orange ot tmobile number so I think it should be ok even if you get one just for this but again im not completely sure of it.

I asked on the official EE Broadband chat a few minute ago and they said you can buy one, so that should be fine.

EE broadband is terrible wished I never transferred from TalkTalk. Never had buffering when watching YouTube but now it's always buffering and time outs during online play. Just another 11 months before my contract ends!

Where does it say this? because I bought this a week ago and I didn't have to pay for delivery

I'm on this, put me mum on and just putting a friend on. The end price with cashback is unbeatable.
I've recently been with TalkTalk and Plusnet and while the cs at Plusnet are easiest to talk to both myself and my mum had problems with them. My mum had to complain to the ombudsman before they said sorry and paid compensation. At least if you're not paying much, cs can only be as expected or better.

The router for my friend is free postage online.

I thought this would be really hot too, people keep saying the customer service is bad and I understand that but for £1.63pm (potentially) for broadband and line rental this deal is great!

Too

Is this 12 month contract ??

Broadband and phone is on 12 month contract????

I did it in the shop and they offered me a 5gb internet booster for my ee contract

top cash back are only offering £80.80 but Quidco do £130.

I did signup when there was a similar deal last year and had no issues so far. The speed I get is more or less similar to the previous broadband from Sky... Just wondering if it is possible to go for this again as a new customer.... any ideas?

moved to EE got £132 casback as well..that's the complete line rental refunded via TCB..so far the speed has been better than Sky.Nothing much to lose if the speed is slow I shall be happy to pay the £24 annual contract and move on to the next provider.

Please note it isn't their faulty equipment but BT's. I haven't dealt with EE's customer services but the fault issue I have with another supplier and trust me, it is all the same.

It is standard practice that if the fault is at your end then you pay towards repairs. I had the same issue with Talktalk, and there is a very simple test to ensure the fault isn't at your end (you take the faceplate off the main socket to reveal a test socket, plug a phone that you know is working into that test socket and check for dial tone and noise). If you have a clear line then that implies the problem is caused at your end, otherwise the problem comes from outside. Just like with other utilities, you are responsible for equipment in your own property.

What I would say is that in this instance TalkTalk would offer you compensation (it's in the contract) whereas other suppliers (such as Plusnet) only do so at their discretion.
