Important. This deal is not a guarantee there will be any stock in the store, so please don’t make a trip you wouldn’t have made otherwise just for this item, especially as it is a ‘luxury grocery’ rather than something essential - we should all limit our time out of our houses to help slow the spread. Please shop responsibly.

Sure someone will get all nerdy and quote some cost per litre per %age ABV and sure it isn't anything amazing in that respect. However this is a great 'export strength' beer in a rather funky bottle design. Picked up 24 as they were loading them up and will savour each one of them and reminisce about many a special sunset beers supped at my parents place in Turkey...

Yeah, but this one is made to taste like draft - so where does this leave you on this one?

If you pour the can into a glass before drinking it tastes fine.
Also at Beckton London

Didn’t say it tastes bad from a can, ‘fine’ is good enough for a lot of people, just saying it tastes ‘better’ from a bottle..!

Tastes exactly the same as if you pour it into a glass, if you don't believe me do a blind taste test.

Really not a connoisseur, just prefer to drink/pour from a bottle and this particular bottle is also a bit different... worth the extra 10p, especially with all this good weather coming our way!

Tried it the other day, it's ok but not really impressed for 1.29 a bottle, I think there are better booze deals in Home Bargain/Heron) B&M but each to their own..

That's not really true though, and why a lot of the most expensive beers are sold in cans.

what's not true ? I'm not a connoisseur or that I prefer to drink from a bottle or that I am happy to pay 10p more for this with a cool shaped bottle in front of the BBQ this weekend ? Trust me, all of these are true!

What you said on an earlier post about beer tasting better out of bottles. Beer keeps better in the dark and manufacturers now coat the inside of their cans, that's why Brewdog etc use cans now.

Exactly this. Modern beers with their high hop levels and the move towards unfiltered, hazy beers, mean they are a lot more susceptible to UV light damage (also known as sun struck)
