This has now gone even cheaper. Best deal for reasonable data n a P30 Pro I've seen. Please don't hate just because it's cashback. I've done it several times, it's very simple & reliable and is ultimately, from what I can see, the cheapest overall way to get this phone for us savvy shoppers!

Also available on O2 if preferred for £1 a month more (and 10gb less data) here: mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/sho…ket

£42 a Month x 24 = £1008
Less £396 cashback from MPD = £612
Less £44.10 topcashback = £567.90
Divided by 24 = £23.6625

Good deal, cashback is easy to claim with mpd takes 5 mins usually paid into you account within 2 weeks.
No doubt the receiptions rubbish and customer service is a joke brigade will appears soon. Check your coverage with a PAYG sim first and most of the big operators services is woeful anyway.
Remember to used tcb or Quidco to make it potentially cheaper

Good choice. I have two Vodafone contracts running with them just now and no issues. One was the S10 with free watch which is sold which reduced the overall cost to me. Always an option if your don't need the watch

Yep, my watch will be going on ebay before it's even delivered!
Hopefully something is like this when my contract is finished. O2 coverage definitely worth paying the extra £1 for imo compared to 3
Went for this but the 02 recieved today...no mention of watch in emails or on delivery

That's not a good deal. I need a minimum of 40gb with my kids and I dont want to pay over £50 for the handset upfront. Car phone warehouse had a good deal and theyve changed it from the switch to a sodding fitness watch! No thank you, pass me the biscuits and pokemon sword on the switch ta!

I would get this deal, and put the cash from the topcashback and watch sale towards a switch. Don't choose a deal because you instantly get a switch

£45/month no upfront for 90gb on O2. You will be unlikely to get a deal anywhere near this deals price with a free switch.

👆 This person talks sense. But you would obviously not get the switch straight away

Do you think it'll still be around by the 8th March? I can give my 30 days notice on my contract with o2 on the 8th Feb and it ends 8th March.
Also, please excuse my ignorance I genuinely don't know, could I take the contract out before 8th March and keep my old number straight away?
Wi-Fi calling? Makes signal strength irrelevant at home. All providers poor reception where I live so capability of Wi-Fi calling much more important.
Great deal. Heat added

Give your notice on the 8th get your PAC and then leave whenever you want. If you left on say the 9th the final bill will not be the full amount as the don't charge vat on any service not provided so the remaining days of the contract. The would be able to tell you you final bill if you give them the date your leaving. If your worried about the deal going you could buy this now. And just wait till the 8th to start using it.
Or you can call your current provider and ask what the cost would be if you left now might not be as much as you think
Ordered! Thanks!
As a Huawei owner I have to say their CS is terrible and repair prices a joke make apple look cheap.
i ca't find the o2 one. is it expired

when I click the link I gave in the OP for the o2 one is still comes up fine
For cashback, they say it will be paid directly into the bank account you provided during your application. What they mean by application, is it when buying initially or when claiming cashback ?
Just want to know how smooth it is in case of switching bank account or something
Thanks OP.

Was looking for a new phone and a flagship one for this price and allowances is crazy.

Aurora Blue 128GB ordered with O2. Worth the extra £1 and minus 10gb of data IMO for better coverage around the country.

My mate will probably take the watch off me for 75. TCB also tracked. Hopefully pays out.

Looking at just above £20 per month providing all goes to plan. A bit of RPI increase of course but nothing major

At minimum though the guaranteed MPD cash back makes this crazy let alone the extras.

I would dare say you would pay around £18-20 for a SIMO with similar allowances!

I had an email saying my order was cancelled but for security they can't say why. Tried again, and it got cancelled again. Could it be because I'm in France right now (work trip, and order address is UK), only thing I can think of? Credit is fine used them before etc

Into the account you give for the direct debit to come out of. If you switch accounts they advise that cause the direct debits get swapped to the new account this is where the cashback will be paid too. You can however call up to check where it's being paid to after you switch accounts but be prepared for a long wait on the phone

When you put your address history last 3 years? And you put France ? Then quite possibly yes 😬

Matter of opinion.

New doesn't always mean better.

No Google on the P40?

Maybe they recognsied by IP that you are not in the UK. presuming you didnt order on a VPN or anything.

Maybe they have been scammed by this before. Although see other comments people with good credit get refused randomly.

easy workaround i'm told if that's an issue.

Cool.

I am sure it will be less than £500 over 24 with all the allowances above?

A phone doesn't just become rubbish because a new ones out. I will settle for the phone thats equipped ready with Google affiliation without 'workarounds'. But that's me.

No I have lived in the UK in the same place for 6 years and put that. But am in France right now when I placed the order. Wonder if they identified a French IP address and that caused an issue. Will try when I'm back in the UK and let you know if that works!

How can you possibly claim that an unannounced phone (with no solid confirmation of release date, last year it was end of March and that's without the Google issues) that certainly will not have easy access to Google services, is far better and will have an easy workaround?

Haaaa do you really think I am bothered with what you wrote. I am happy with my purchase and your pointless comments don't change that.

A deal is voted on for the merit it is. In this case it's hot hence the deal going over 100 degrees.
