As somebody who could tell the difference between 75Hz and 85Hz on old CRT monitors, everyone has slightly different image perception.

Not required but you may find it beneficial, reduced eyestrain, reduced image tearing, everything feels smoother. The jump to 240Hz and above isn't as pronounced as 75 to 144Hz.

When watching videos with 144Hz you can now boost them with svp-team.com and convert any video to 60fps or more.
Long time lurker here so hope it is acceptable to ask the following - is this ok for general office work i.e. excel, word? Looking for a cheap duel screen set up for my home.

Thanks

PS Thanks MrSwitch, as while I try not to buy lots of stuff always found myself gravitating to your posts....especially the mobile ones!

Hopefully someone can answer your question, gaming monitors or computing isn't really my area of expertise

it's dual and fine for excel, word etc
i am thinking of buying this but i want to know from someone who has used it if it is any good and lacks any quality that a slightly more expensive but still technically the same specs monitor has (75hz, 1080, 24", 1ms, etc)
