In short - it's the ideal gaming monitor for you. And incredible value. Buy it now and you'll have the perfect screen for your gaming set up.

Ultra-fast response time
The fastest gaming monitor in its price bracket. A 1ms response time means the only thing stopping you hitting that head shot is you.

Power to game
Your games will reach their full potential with the smooth and improved feel of 144hz. Blurry images and lag during racing, sports and fast action games will be a thing of the past. The 144hz refresh rate built into this 27" QHD monitor lets you see the action as the game designer intended.

Game to the edge
EG's micro-edge design allows for maximum use of the 27" panel. With a 7mm thick side bezel and a 15mm bottom bezel you really will see the big picture. With eye-popping graphics making the large screen appear even bigger than its generous 27" already is.

AMD FreeSync support
Screen tearing will be a thing of the past with AMD® FreeSyncTM1™ which syncs your display's framerate to your video card. If you've never had a gaming monitor with this technology you can't imagine the difference it will make to your gaming.

Sharp look and VESA mountable
This 27" monitor looks the business. EG know a thing or two about design and the elegant metal stand not only looks superb but also maximises your work space. It's the perfect look for any gaming room. Add to that, the freedom of this monitor being VESA mountable to ensure your gaming experience is how you want it.

Quad High Definition
You won't believe your eyes when you see this EG QHD monitor in action. The QHD screen will bring your games to life like never before. The 2560 x 1440 resolution is four times that of standard HD. You'll see the difference in the amazing detail and vivid colours on your screen.

If they hadn't bumped the price up in the eBay one to compensate then it would have been £160.
£11 cheaper than direct from there website
TN display. Anyone else noticed how sellers seem to tuck that info away whenever it's a TN?
What does Tn mean?

Poor viewing angles and dull colours. Higher refresh rates and response times done in a more cost effect way i.e. More frames per second and pixels can change colour faster to prevent ghosting effect. This makes this panel more appealing to gamers on a budget

Thanks. My son wants to get a monitor that £140 1080p 144mhz & 1ms. Is this wirth me putting the extra to it? Sorry I know nothing about monitors.
It's a great monitor for the money tbh if you don't mind tn panel.
I ordered this to replace my 70hz iiyama monitor. I have a spare adjustable stand I hope is the right size since the stock stand sounds rubbish. It's a joke they have the eBay store price higher than their website to offset the discount applied

If he's planning on upgrading his computer to play at 1440p it could be worth it. If he's sticking at 1080p for a while then I'd say get a 24" 1080p monitor. 1080p Sharpness is lost on a 27" monitor that also prefers to be set to 1440p. Getting a 24" will save on cost too. Always check reviews. On paper some monitors looks good but real life results are what count the most.

Thanks. I just know he's got an rtx 580 graphics card so I was thinking he could up the resolution with this monitor?

Not really no. Rx 580 is a 1080p graphics card. It will struggle at 1440p

Just to subtly piggy back on that question, what about a GTX 1660? OK for 1440p or better off sticking with 1080p? I heard that 1440p is roughly 4 times as intensive to run.
