Voted (boiling) hot - this is eggsactly what I need.

This price in Tesco 6 years ago when I moved into my house???

Surely it doesn't make any real difference how many eggs you have, assuming they are at room temperature and the water is actively boiling when they are added? Wouldn't it would be more use to take into account the size of egg?

cracking good deal

Cue more puns....
This will be eggstremely useful!

Sell these in poundland for ... er... a pound, and it is the same one not a cheap copy.

Good though if you dont have a poundland near you for the price. Useful gadget especially for people like students, we have one and comes in handy. The timer, not the student - they're useless!

these are great, weve been using one for years!

got to get one my eggs are never right lol

Can students afford eggs these days?

good deal, but doesn't work well on all cooker types. I changed from a gas to an induction hob, and the first time I used this, with the latter, the egg was very undercooked at a the same mark - but at least now I know where to stop cooking at.

eggcellent.

What an eggtraordinary deal

The more eggs you put in, the more they will cool the water. This will mean that it takes a little longer to get back up to the boil. As this works entirely from the heat, it is similarly adjusted in this situation

gonna shell out on one of these.

what egghead needs one of these to boil an egg ?

This and the Perfect Soldier maker, you have to be yoking:lol:

All the egg jokes on here are eggausting. :?

In total though it comes to £7.55 with delivery and VAT.

Available from Poundland

Erm, no it isn't - try looking at the ones sold by Amazon themselves. Free postage over £5 - perhaps the title should have said "filler item" but it's common knowledge.

do we really need people to keep posting it's available in poundland? read the whole thread, we know it was mentioned in post no:7

This is a good deal for people like me who don't live anywhere near one.

hot deal.

Yes, but as the person you quoted asked, wouldn't it be better to take into account the size of the eggs, not their number, and yes it would - a larger egg takes longer to cook at the same temperature.

Anyone know where you can get these any cheaper than £1.79;-)

You gotta be yoking

I got mine from POUNDLAND IN Sutton last week
