Ehang 184 AAV Human Carrying Drone available for pre-order.

Much cheaper than a helicopter which costs around £450k, but is currently limited to a range of 500m for safety reasons. Cargo weight limit of 100kg, so single passenger.

Uhmmm, give it a go!!!! Free holiday everynow and then lol

Ordered 3 for eBay, thanks!

Omg X)

No way would I get in one of these. I know quadcopters and they have the glide angle of a brick with the simplest mechanical or electrical failure. Even a helicopter can perform a controlled landing if power is lost.

Oh dang I'm maybe 105kg... but I think I can trim off 10kg (to be safe, I don't want to challenge the limit, plus I want to carry my laptop).

Received confirmation that mine has been shipped.. Err... Flown and that i should expect delivery on my roof soon

It does'nt state how many AAA batteries it needs :-/

But is it a deal? What is the usual price?

Brilliant!

It would have probably lifted me before Christmas, but not now.

For that reason I'm out.

If a person is onboard, it is no longer a drone.

I'll have to wait until Christmas

Was about to comment the exact same thing.

Unfortunately metres

It's 500m up and the furthest it can fly in 23mins with a top speed about 100mph.

guessing it's battery-electric; if you're light enough to travel with a petrol-electric generator within the payload can it recharge in flight?

Thanks OP ordered 2 for kids dropping to school primary & Secondry. X)
