Two cars and only enough petrol for one journey? - fear not - just pump one tank dry and put it in the other tank.

No idea what the capacity of the bottle is, so you might be there a while.

Remember - always ask permission from the person who pays for the fuel

Most (probably all) cars since the 80's have anti siphoning devices meaning this is useless for sharing petrol from another car's tank.
Thieves don't need one of these to pinch fuel, they just cut your fuel line.

Probably the best way to tell if it's got one is to drop a lit match down the petrol pipe.

Be interesting to know how well this works on modern cars because as superlurker said they have anti-siphoning tech in their tanks now.

It's still possible though as the guys who help those who put the wrong fuel in their cars can do it.
