I bought this last time it was posted here a month ago, it works ok, but the guard has to be held so that the blade comes through, otherwise it clicks and locks the blade out, so you need to use both hands to use it

I thought it looked like Boba Fetts Slave 1 🤷‍♀️

its just easier to use than a CS for some jobs.

I’ve got similar tool from Lidl and found it great over the years as been scared off using my circular saw from all the warnings on here about losing digits.

They have it instore currently although they’ve upgraded the handle and it’s 710w so a bit more oomph than this one but is £50 (£5 off on my Lidl plus coupons).

Most wood I cut is 20mm or under (except for occasional sleepers) so this works well and never had any real kickback. Only real complaint is cordless would make it much easier to use for short jobs.

Notice how corded tools have their cords removed in marketing garbage these days - fools some I guess?
    Had exactly the same thought!

at only 450w i'd be concerned about how much 'oomph' this would have.
Yeah, me too, there is a workpro one that's 750w for the same money too. Does angle cuts as well but doesn't look like it comes with a depth gauge

Not sure if this is similar to the works one I have, but they are next to useless. Low power, so blade keeps getting wedged, and it tries to veer off all the time.
WORX do various power ones - 450W is at the low end. OK for some light jobs but not up to the tought stuff.

got something similar ...was well handy for chasing cables into walls...apart from the dust!

been rubbish on anything wood though

What uses would this have if you already have a circular saw and a multi tool?
