This or the LG-27UL600 for £250? Which is better for gaming on the PS4 & Xbox
I wouldn't expect much from HDR at this price, particularly on a TN panel.

I'm not sure where you are seeing that monitor for £250 but I would say it is much better value than this seeing as it has a IPS panel. Having a TN panel for 60hz is like the worse thing you can do.

You get a TN panel for the best screen refresh rate while accepting poor colours and viewing angles however, if it's 60hz it doesn't really matter if the refresh rate is 1ms or a bit higher so you are just comprising on everything.

Novatech have it at £250
Yeah I ended up ordering the LG, it's got positive reviews everywhere I looked.
38490621-RMrFV.jpgI purchased the LG-27UL600 one and received it yesterday, it offers a great picture but I don't think the blacks are that deep and in all the corners I have a white light so the blacks look grey, I will be returning it.

I am doubting this is a ten bit panel or wide colour gamut at this price?

Aye, TN panel, 8 bit plus dithering, just under 100% sRGB colour space. To be expected for the price I guess. Even the brightness levels barely meet HDR entry level specs. Lot of pixels tho, and good enough for normal office work (at a push - TN viewing angles are incredibly narrow) and gaming.
