I had these and imo up faceing speakers are pointless. Decided to go with 4x Dali Alteco C1 and have them as hights and sound great obvs you can't beat in ceiling.
Has anyone upgraded to these from the onkyo SKH-410?
Someone tell me I can afford these

They're better but not by much, not worth the price of the upgrade in my opinion. But then I'm not a big fan of upfiring speakers. Also they may overhang any speakers you place them on as the foot print is quite large on these.

Alright a genuine question. Comparing these to Eltax MONITOR ATM currently £129 or RS.
Just on the spec sheet, are the Eltax MONITOR ATM a better deal?
I can see the Elac A4.2 has a frequency range starting 180Hz and Eltax MONITOR ATM starting 70Hz also it's 20w more.
Link to the eltax speakers:

My TV has atmos sticker, but I don't see any connections labelled as such. Can I hook them to the headphone output?

My understanding is that your TV can pass through Dolby Atmos sounds to a capable amp directly.
In other words if for example Netflix had an Atmos movie you can stream that directly and the amp will enable the Atmos speakers. Other TVs will only send a 5.1 signal to the amp and thus to get Atmos user will need to rely on other devices like a Nvidia shield or Apple TV etc.
