Seems to be a new thing with Local Deals, HUKD seems to prefer it if you just highlight it as being in "your area", eg, "Scotland Glasgow" - this has happened loads whenever I do chain store Deal posts (that aren't manager reductions/store-specific).

When I submit a Deal, I tick it as "Local" without specifying an area, but a mod always steps in and edits it to Glasgow.

I use this for cleaning the drivetrain on my bike, works out miles cheaper than buying dedicated degreaser and lasts much longer too

That's good to know, boyf was wondering if he could use it on his motorbike, though he could easily do a bit of Googling.

I bought it originally because I read somewhere that it could help get paint stains out of fabric (it didn't, suppose the stains were left on there too long, they're a good month or so old) but the reviews on Amazon were really positive - even if they do spell it as "Greese" on one of their listings‌

Seems slightly less harsh than a dedicated degreaser, mine is on a pushbike but principles should still apply

Forgot to add - from this store, I also bought a back scratcher. I've bought boyf the ones that look like telescopic metal "forks" but they always seem to break pretty quickly. This was £1, no idea how long it'll last/how effective it'll be. Didn't take a picture in store, alas, but they look like this (his was Red).

Friend pulled it out when working on a car, fabulous stuff couldnt believe how effective it was.
Later he told my son to use some elbow grease on his car, he thought he was taking the pee and implied he was being lazy, until I bought some and it made sense, haha.

In my experience this spray can end up smelling fishy, not nice when you're using it often

Boyf now tells me he hasn't tried it on his jacket (that had paint splattered on it) but he cleaned up paint splattered trainers with it - so, I don't know if it's my hazy memory or he just doesn't listen to my questions (probably the latter).

He says he can't remember any discernable alarming scent Will try it out myself later, there's a bottle under the sink.
