If you like the new album but don't know any of their older stuff, I'd suggest working backwards i.e. start with Leaders of the Free World, Cast of Thousands then Asleep in the Back.

Enjoy!

Leaders of the free world is an amazing album, on par if not maybe better, than seldom seen kid.

I've seen them live twice in the last year and they well deserve all the accolades that they are now getting.

Couldn't agree more. Excellent album by a band who were until recently VERY underrated.

I just ordered Leaders Of The Free World. If I like it, I'll be back for more!

Cheers!

I download a lot of albums, give them a cursory listen and then forget about them. The Seldom Seen Kid is an album that deserves to be listened to again and again- nearly every tune is a beautiful classic.
I think I shall take the other guys advice and start with their other albums from the start.
Cheers.

Only by their music if you have an elovator to play it in.

I bought leaders of the free world on its release but only liked 2 tracks on it (Station Approach, Frorget Myself). I gave it about 5 listens to see if it grew in me but it never did.

This has put me of buying the new album as of yet.

Is the latest album as good as the critics are making out?

Epic education fail.

And a half!

I've seen them twice in the last year myself and easily the best band I've seen live for ages. No airs or graces just blimming fantastically crafted tunes performed by people who you think you'd genuinely get on with if you met them.

Leaders Of The Free World is, in my opinion, a better album than Seldom Seen Kid which most people know them for; it's not immediately catchy but after a few listens worms it way into your brain. And lyrically..... utter genius

Grounds for divorce is pretty catchy

But Forget Myself will be in your head forever - especially the video!
