Not even worth it for the amazon price mentioned above. Basic toy that both my kids got bored of quickly :/
Cold £8.99 on amazon
Got one of these, sod to make......
Showing as OOS when you add it to basket
I bought 3 for 2 from ELC at Christmas (when they also had a 50% sale at the same time). Out of two gifts given (the third was retained for the future), the RC car's gears stripped within five minutes and the scooter/bike convertible didn't come with a locking collar so had to be returned. Out of that, I'm not buying toys from these stores again.
is this in-store too?
It's back again at £24.
Missed out :(
Gutted! It’s gone back up to £70!!!
Thanks for the info
We got this for our son's 2nd birthday back in October. The steering works very well when pushing. You can unlock the front wheel so that it disconnects from the handle bar and you simply push it like a pushchair with full control over the steering - pushing slightly harder on the left side turns to the right and vice versa. If the front wheel is locked, you can still turn it the same as in the unlocked mode (but the handle bar will also turn). I tend to leave it locked so that my son can steer where he wants to go. We tested the Smart Trikes out in the shop, but i found the Galileo's steering to be easier, the handle and the rest of the trike also felt a lot more solid.
Consider if your child will take to this before splurging. Grandparents bought for our little one and was waste of money (and added to clutter) :/ She preferred the push chair when she wasn't as mobile or lazy. And once she was mobile enough to enjoy the "cycle" she much preferred the lighter more manoeuvrable scooter. IMO the problem with these is there's nowhere to comfortably put your feet when the kids are really just playing at riding (and you're doing all the work). And when they cross that line to being able to do the work for themselves, these are too big and cumbersome for them. So they prefer the scooter (or just a basic barebones trike) and then they're never coming back to this when they get to the size/strength that they can really utilise it properly.
Can anyone advise on steering difficulties with fixed parent handle. I think I remember reading a negative review about this in the past but I'm having difficulty finding any reviews about this trike.
ordered hope kids will love them
"Little chefs will enjoy cooking on this retro style kitchen" They need to hurry up with the Olympic breakfast then, the brand disapears at the end of the month! :/
Great kitchen. Ours is still being used after 4 years. Don't remember it being too difficult to put together personally!
Need a kitchen fitter.... ;)
Yes I have a hammer and a crate full of energy drinks, it won't be a problem.
these are always "half price" makes u think your getting a bargain there always 50 to 65 pounds. still a good buy though x
What 10 peices of furniture comes with it? Cheers
i bought this morning what a bargain! saving of £130
Don't be scribbling rude body parts on the board.
thanks for posting but even at the discounted price i think it is not worth it. Quality is too low and reviews also seem to concur.
Possibly this price because of the handful of rubbish reviews? Doesn’t look like it’ll survive a toddler
Thanks Hun I’ve activated it xx
back in stock
Aww no way :( sorry Hun, thanks for letting me know so I could expire it... they are having a 60% sale on selected toys and I found this set that’s a bit similar.. https://www.elc.co.uk/sale/big-city-station-terminal/145758.html?cgid=e903#start=12 X
Oh no I missed it! Showing as OOS :-(
Back in stock and now only £40 and free delivery! :D Absolute bargain! (highfive)
It's not expired. Don't forget TCB at 4.2%
Amazing price! My boys got this for Xmas they love it. Really good buy!
Good Deal Thanks Op (y)
Oos now on their website, but says 26.99. Might be still available in some stores. I went to have a look in our local as we had a brilliant scooter from this brand but I didnt like this trike unfortunately.
Does anyone have this? Does it have soft rubber wheels or plastic wheels? Thanks!
It has 3 modes / stages, it's "Stage 2 - 12+ months: Converts to a parent supported early trike" that gets interesting, but it is manageable. It's the unobstructed view from the tricycle that is so much more than the buggy he loved. Depends on the little ones personality. Rear facing wouldn't give the the same they but it's good value even if the rear facing stage is skipped. A well spotted bargain hope you both enjoy it and thanks for sharing it. strolly.net/products/strolly-spin
That wasn't an insult, it highlighting the hyperbolic scenario you used. It literally says that it's meant to be rear facing until a kid is capable enough. A prime example of RTFM, rather than crying that it's somehow a dangerous product (annoyed)
When you’ve got a toddler, you’ll understand. My son was walking by 10 months and has been into everything ever since You started the insults with your reference to a GSXR.
Nice one. Usually ELC always have an additional 10% off codes also - any clue what the codes are for this run?
