Think I'll get a few of these. Never seem to be able to find a torch when I need one.

Aren't these torches from Poundland, always been a pound ?

I use these for work. They are great and although they do break relatively easily, at a quid a throw just treat them as semi-disposable

great for night beach fishing too as the sea air will rot a torch, so you can bin them after a few uses and just start using a new one

I bought one to light up my life, it wasn't one of my brightest moments!

I would say if your after a dirt cheap torch to look on aamazon for a cree q5 around £2.70 delivered direct from China. Takes a week or so to arrive but they are so bright for the money. And I have only used a normal aa battery in
mine these from poundland arnt worth wasting your batteries for in my opinion.

I have half a dozen of these , they are brilliant... Never had one fail, and so bright compared to torch`s of old

dont waste your money n these by the time the batteries run the switch has broken

buy a cree from dx.com f wait 14 days and have a great torch which lasts ages on batteries and that is much much brighter

I bought one of these some time ago, it worked for a few seconds from new then packed up, they always have these in poundland.

You're bettet off getting something which won't let you down when you really need it, unless that doesn't bother you. oO

Poor you sounds like you're still in the dark

Have about four of these bought over the last year so so, still original batteries and very bright.
I did have one break, but for £1 it did its job before breaking.

Excellent for leaving in the car or around the house for emergencies.

i bought mine from home bargains for £1. great little torch to have handy.

Thank you! I do a lot of work on my motorbike and during cold times keep the door shut so been looking for a flashlight for the tight dark spaces to work on!

I bought some similar ones a couple of years ago and they were fab and are still going strong. Bought two more earlier this year and they are crap-at least two LEDs have already blown in each of the two I have bought.

They were good but the current ones appear to be duffers..

My issue with these torch is that they use 3 AAA batteries. I'd prefer single AA.

Cold, cheaper on ebay with free delivery

I also Bought one last year and its Brilliant for Spotting Dog Poo in the Dark Mornings the back came off but I taped it up still Working Bargain for a £1

I bought one for getting to the car after work but half my LED's have blown. Still, for a quid what do you expect.... might try taking it back for a replacement.

how do I switch it on/off. It is on when the base is tightened, and I have to open it to switch off.
