There is also another coolbox posted on HUKD with 23 litre capacity for 20 quid (with quidco available) - Looking at them I would guess they are from the same manufacturer. However to get the mains adaptor for the other it increases the price to 35 quid making the larger one here the best bet if you wish to use mains - or the smaller one from woolworths a better bet if you need less cooled and only use it in cars.

I know it does not say explicitly - but it mentions the cable length of the adaptor which would seem extremely unlikely if excluded.

careful with these...i thought about getting a similar one from makro but decided not to because the 12v adaptor in the boot of my 307 stays on even with the engineer off.....this box would run the battery down and maybe even flat

Funnily enough - that was discussed earlier in the thread for the other cooler.

Buy a battery from a scrap yard and shove in a twin battery relay/split … Buy a battery from a scrap yard and shove in a twin battery relay/split charge controller and wire it to your cigar lighter - it costs under twenty quid and an afternoon to do. Most time is spent making a secure place for the battery. If you like working with cars - you can run your lights through relays to the second battery and it brightens the original lights as they are not sending current through the dash switches - and you can never run the battery that starts your car flat by leaving the lights on.

This is a great deal, I had been looking to buy an electric coolbox with both car and home connectors. I hadn't been able to find one for less than £43 so at £30 this is excellent.

It's the 240v plug for indoor use which seems to bump the prices of electric coolers up.

Bought this coolbox today

Only word of warning I would say is, it's massive - not sure it will fit in our boot under the parcel shelf
And if it does, it takes up a lot of room

Was thinking of taking it on holiday and wondering if it will be too much boot space lost

Apart from that, looks good
