Just found this electric wax melt warmer at Asda, special intro offer of £9, going to to £17 yet it scanned through at £6. Well worth it for any wax melts,

These are good for soy wax based melts but do take ages to melt parrifin based melts such as Yankee candles wax tarts, even glades own melts take over an hour to fully pool and throw.
This is because they are only 20w heat pad melt warmers. They do the job and are a good price for £6 but at full price you can find a woodwick 25w halogen bulb melter that is more effective for the same price.
They are £6 everywhere it's £9 for the burner and a pack of melts
Is this the same as wilko sell??...its £12.00 from there!!
I bought 3 of these at £6 each from Tesco the other week. I have found them excellent and the glade melts worked fine and in good time. Really pleased with these as suggested / recommended by someone who makes wax melts / tarts etc as I was about to buy one from Amazon at £20!

Excellent is a bit strong a word as having melted lots of wax over past few years in electric melt warmers I know a lot on how they perform. Anything below 25w output will struggle with paraffin wax and take over an hour to pool and throw well. These from glade are 20w heat pad warmers and are good for the price and perform well with soy wax based melts but nothing more than competent with parrifin wax (such as Yankee tarts).
These glade warmers are very similar to Yankee candles electric heat pad warmers but Yankees are rated at 18w max and are only just OK with soy wax.
I've been buying the woodwick halogen bulb warmers (£17.99 online) and replacing the 25w bulb with a 40w halogen (the warmers are rated up to 100w output) and those perform awesome with parrifin wax.

Like I said before these are great for the price and for anyone melting lots of soy wax or wanting a wax warmer for on a budget or to give it a try as a starter or intro electric warmer but you will soon find they are just ok once you start using an electric warmer that s been produced around melting parrafin wax.
They are marked at £6 in my local asda.
Got one today and the spiced apple smells gorgeous. Really Christmassy. Only took about ten minutes to heat up
