Thanks was looking to get these and save on my heating bill. Better than the under blanket ones in my opinion.
If you want to save upto another 18% use Quidco too and go through the Groupon app.
I purchased one from Argos, 3yr ago for £50. My Mum Swears by it.

about time for a new one, Ordered and thanks.
Don't like Groupon.
If merchandise is rubbish - no one cares; no response.
Do these use a lot of electricity?

Just think is it actually worth it or is it just easier putting up tge heating by a degree.

You don’t have tiny radiators that are useless like me then? Plus it’s not warming up the whole room like a fan heater just me under the blanket. Each to there own.

Cost pence to run, my mum uses hers for relaxing on the settee. She absolutely loves it.
sitting in mine right now.Paid £45 for the same one last year. Absolutely love it and it's cheap as chips to run.
I've bought two. One for my niece and daughter.
Thinking I should get myself one 😜
If you need one of these then maybe see a doctor. Your body heat can easily generate heat enough to keep you warm in a normal fleece blanket.
Old people excluded.

Your idea is spot on. The miniscule amount of electricity this blanket uses will be a lot less than putting the thermostat up a couple of degrees as the central heating will use more gas to heat the whole property. And gas costs money. Not to mention the increased co2 emissions. So keep snuggly and warm in this heated blanket and save money too!
Ordered this last night but completely forgot I had until I've seen my email this morning
Must be Black Friday getting to me - cos it wasn't a late night drunk purchase

Hiya, I have never had one of these so difficult to compare to see if this is working properly.

I just got mine today, left it like 1h switched on at the H (High) setting and could barely feel any heat when touching it anywhere.
I left it another 30mins at the top temperature (number 7) and same, one cannot feel much.

Does it work the same for the rest? or do you actually feel that the blanket is hot when touching it with the hands?

It's not hot, hot but it is noticeably warm after you've followed the instructions and preheated on H. Very toasty under the cover.

Have you made sure your timer settings are long enough?

Thanks, yes, I left it much longer than the instructions said. Like 1 hour in the H setting (so that it changed to the L setting by itself at the end of it), then another 1 hour at the maximum of number 7 and still... I couldn't feel much.

After trying a couple of more times, I can feel a little warm now but it's more on the bottom 1/3rd of the blanket and not in the whole blanket for what I can see. Although reading about it online, I've read some comments were people mention like you said, that it's not hot as such but warm instead, so I've got my doubts about whether this product works correctly. I'll try a few more nights to see if I can figure it out.

I still wonder why one side seems to heat a lot more than the other...

After using it a few more times, it definitely gets a pretty warm temperature after a few minutes in H. Yours sounds like it might be faulty
