Mrs bought me one of these last year as she was sick of me counting change every few months...

Quality is very poor from my experience... I use it basically as a jar for coins instead of the actual counter!

having to put one in at a time is a right pain, and if you do take any out you have to restart it all over again

Afraid I have to agree-I got one last year when reduced to £2 something from Amazon, and it really doesn't keep count well and often mistakes some coins for others. Handy for collecting loose change but not to keep count .

I had one as a present last Xmas, never used it TBH.

Total resets everytime you change the battery lol

I have one under my bed with the princely sum in it of £2.67 (well I can't be sure cos I think I may have unscrewed the lid a couple of times) :-0

I actually remember (vaguely) one night coming home from a wedding, Mrs had some flowers that needed to go in water, but I couldn't find a vase anywhere...

The jar did the job very well. So it does have some uses :-)
