I wouldn't buy another Samsung - the picture quality has been great but each updates inserts more and more adverts into the interface - including self-starting adverts. Yes if you are technical you can disable some of them but why should you have to?

Is delivery fast?

Gone up £18 since yesterday, still good price http://www.cramptonandmoore.co.uk/televisions/4k/samsung-premium-uhd/soloco-samsung-ue55mu9000-55-inch-curved-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-smart-tv.html

I went for the curved 55MU9000 from Crampton & Moore for £650. This was a £1750 tv last year and rates well. Use code FACEBOOK to drop it from £729 to £656. Can also get five year warranty for £63. I don’t care for curved TVs much but couldn’t say no for that price.

I would avoid it.

Bought 2 sets of these for children at university (£33 ebay) and they are excellent quality if you can find them. I have seen them on Amazon as well at a good price

I got these with my new Neff induction hob. It's a German brand (Schulte Ufer) for those that are curious. I've only used the frying pan so far, but it's worked perfectly. Better than my Tefal Jamie Oliver frying pan.

^^ This, who’s brilliant idea putting metal handles on a saucepan

Thanks Op But metal handles on the saucepans is a NO NO for me

Great TV however, if want proper 4k and HDR you need to look at the 8 series and above.

I you want much better picture you have to go for OLED....

Grabbed a KU6470 when they were silly cheap. To be honest picture quality isn't much better than my 3 y/o panny plasma. It is cheaper to run, 89 watts v 275 watts.. It'll do for now.

And thats being polite

Would Currys or JL or RS price match this?

umm, about that...

Honestly, wait until after CES. Might find the KS8000 is slightly more affordable too :) That has better local dimming and motion (apparently). Also I'm not sure how good the KS9000 is going to be, but one of the main improvements is in the software (something I couldn't care less about!) and the new QLED (similar to what already exists). That said this is from the rumour mill so may be b***ocks!

Spend extra £230 and get the Hisense 65M7000. I cannot justify to spend double the price for high TVs and I cannot see any difference in the picture watching HD/4K between high TVs and the Hisense TVs. Cold for me.

And CES is 8 days after boxing day. Oh, the dilemma.

So visited Currys today they have this for £899.99 atm but no stock )-; said next week. Called Richer sounds also no stock mid/late Jan they said. Tried also JL no stock and not sure when. Would not let me buy then and there and put on order (I tried John Lewis, currys and Richer sounds).

i made the plunge about 2 weeks ago and in the end went to curry's store although had a problem with the £30 off code they finally honoured it in store, think i had the last one in the country!!! . Store said someone travelled to Swansea from London for one day before (really!) finally had it with Cable for about £923 so happy. Now to the TV - out of the box fantastic . A mate bought the LG OLED 65 inch and yes it's an awesome TV but i've got to be honest i couldn't see any difference in the picture quality (don't shout at me!) and the price difference is massive. pound for pound i would recommend this TV. Connectivity was a breeze and it picked up all my devices immediately. One HDMI cable from the small box to the TV (Love It) Sound is very good for a thin tv. Smart remote is fab. So far nothing negative and i am now able to watch my Local Swansea City being hammered in SUHD!

Anyone else waiting on delivery from Currys?

I keep seeing people mention this issue with Samsung tvs, it specific to theirs? The majority say it's a great TV so not sure what to think! Maybe you can convert the signal somehow (such as through an av receiver) to get around the issue?

Purchased the Samsung 55KS7000 from John Lewis and the stutter and motion is truly dreadful on the set I've received, especially when watching ball sports but also just when news presenters and/or actors turn their heads for example. At worst it is every minute or so. After testing various settings, literally 100's of different variations based on recommended settings etc.. it has improved but there is definitely something amiss here. Many people rave about how good the tv is and how blown away they are by the picture quality whilst others seem to have problems. The version I have (found on the back of tv is 03) whereas others have 01 or 02. Can you get a bad batch of TV's?? Has the most recent version been rushed through to meet what is no doubt huge demand for this set after all the superb expert reviews?? Not sure if this has anything to do with it but I'll be seeking a replacement. The dilemma is to risk getting the same model and having similar problems or going for a different model/brand.

my Bro in-ear has the 850v, which he got for 849 at Xmas from curry's. ...but how does that differ from this model?.....really interested in this as his 850v in my limited opinion is an excellent tv......love to hear your feed back :)

860 is by far the superior set. 10 bit panel, UHD streaming and magic remote

I have a 10 year old LG Plasma and keep going to buy another TV ............. trouble is, the SD image quality of these 4K or HD TV's is absolutely terrible - I mean god damned awful compared to my plasma .......... and it makes me sad that it stops me buying as I have money burning a hole in my pocket for another TV! :(

Bought this exact to for £550 last week - love it. Great deal.

bought this TV from another company for less then £500 on blackfriday deal, amazing TV.

I have the U 6450 version of the tv which is the same but a Currys specific model. It's ok but there are problems of motion judder (soap effect ) on Eastenders and Coronation St especially which no amount of motion setting adjustment seems to improve. Also viewing angles are very poor resulting in loss of picture colour when viewed from even the slightest angle from the side.

Went to look at in store (Currys) today, only had 48inch model but demo material looked very crisp although slightly unnatural to my eyes but I think my brain can't cope with the resolution as it looked jittery. It was next to a Panasonic cx700 series which was beside it which used different material but I thought gave a better picture in the same price range despite using edge lighting and a slightly softer image. Some reviews say the samsung can't cope with 24fps (blu ray playback without artefacts), other reviews don't mention this. Neither of these models are flagships so won't be perfect but OP has a good deal especially considering the warranty. I'm still looking for a good deal on the Panny in 65".

Sounds like a deal. Any one have a hands on review

4% Quidco too

I've not had a such a problem on my current Panasonic machine

I rated Panasonic as a brand but the top end washing machine I bought was awful. As was their warranty and customer service. chewed clothes from New, 1st engineer claimed nothing wrong even though seeing photos. 2nd freed the clothes and told me it was a known fault with no repair and he would log it as such. Panasonic claimed he put in his report no fault. 3rd time it ripped sheets I filmed it. engineer said yep same fault. Panasonic report said user error. At this point I sent the pile of crap back to the shop and filed for and won compensation for damaged clothes. Even that was a struggle as they tried to get out of it by wanting receipts for the clothes that matched the labels! wouldn't trust having to deal with Panasonic for anything now.

I think PC was commenting on the large number of pluses after the 'A', making it look like ebay feedback. Probably might just as well be though. For example, my current machine saves on water usage by not rinsing the washing enough to remove all the washing powder from the clothes, thus achieving a good water usage rating, but provides an extra rinses option to produce an acceptable wash; and one of my previous machines washed 10 degrees lower than the displayed programme wash temperature to achieve a better energy rating, but had a button to press to wash at the correct temperature.

You are corret I believe with what you say - however after 6 months YOU sometimes have to prove the machine had an issue from new, also when your washer is out of action you don't want to fight for weeks (or months) for service you want a service engineer on your doorstep (pref. the next day) and your machine fixed ASAP. So I personally think a 5 year warranty is a good idea on a product like this.

Panasonic reliable .............We have owned a similar one for nearly 5 years , a family of 8 so the machine is on at least twice a day ........... Not a problem

Are hot point reliable

Read the reviews on Hotpoint machines before buying one. I wish I had because I definitely would have gone for a different make had I done so.

Is there any water inside the machine?

We grew up with hotpoint as it used to be a great brand, bought all new appliances for new kitchen, and had so many problems 2 dishwashers in 18 months, when it broke again took the hard decision to bin it but the washer we just paid the additional warranty for the labour for about 4 years but again it came to the point where enough is enough. Sadly you may be at that place as well, there are plenty of good makes out there that won't keep costing you, it's a big decision to take but like cars you get to the point where you say enough is enough :( This seems a good replacement proper 5 year warranty by the looks of it though I haven't checked past the title :) https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-ecobubble-washing-machine-7kg-1400-spin-a-with-5-years-parts-labour-warranty-2224801
