But it's dealt with by Debenhams isn't it so....heat

but it's not really, you're dealing with Buy it Direct.
They state:
When you purchase from Debenhams Plus, Buy it Direct will process the payment and deliver your order within the timescales provided. Therefore the terms and conditions of your purchase will be the Buy it Direct Terms and Conditions, which have been agreed with and aligned to Debenhams own Terms & Conditions. Please take time to check these Terms and Conditions before making your purchase.

The Debenhams Plus contact number and location is the same as Buy it Direct and Laptops Direct.

You're essentially buying from Buy it Direct aka Laptops Direct.

I'm not voting cold because of this fact I was just highlighting it because the OP specifically said to avoid buying from Laptops Direct..... which is the same company that will process and supply this deal.

Quote from reddit "Laptops Direct are shady and ignore distance selling law. It even states this on their website. 5 days maximum for damaged items to be reported or they refuse the refund/replacement. There's constant reports of issues with people trying to return anything that is sent damaged.

Honestly, you don't want to order from them. Unless you find a ridiculous deal, and then be VERY careful if you do."

I'd rather pay the £10 extra for a well-known seller who abides by the selling law.

You are entirely right. It’s just using the Debenhams name - Debenhams Plus =/= Debenhams (on the high street)! I ordered something from Debenhams Plus for the first and last time - ironically it was also a computer monitor

Yes it's all there to see, Debenhams are acting like a drop shipper - they get another company to completely process the transaction and provide support. It might say Debenhams Plus on the paperwork and delivery note but it'll be the exact same buying experience as if it was from Laptops Direct.

Great post, informative and factually correct....well done... More of this please.

This monitor is usually £199.97 at Laptops Direct, so I wouldn't bother spending this much on it, considering its reported poor build quality.

rubbish monitor, cheapest of cheap panels you can get, so if you just want 4K for the sake of it, pointless but sure, go ahead.

I have seen a review state this only outputs at 30 FPS at 4K on an Xbox One. That can’t be correct can it?

It could be a matter of them using the wrong HDMI port, there are two HDMI ports, and very likely one is HDMI 2.0 and the other is 1.4 standard, If they've plugged it into the 1.4 port they'd be limited to 4k/30, I've emailed Laptopdirect about it but no reply from them.

This is actually £30 more expensive than it was until a few days ago, it had been at £200 at Laptop Direct (very obvious you are being redirected to their website) for months and only went up in price over the weekend.
