Depends on your budget. This is a budget 4k screen so you can't compare it to a £350+ branded top end screen.
I don't think you'll find much in the (lower) 1440p range much better unless you want to spend a ton more.
I personally would go for this screen if I wanted a cheap 4k and wasn't too bothered about having top notch quality and a high frame rate. I'm sure it'll do the job well.
Do some research and make sure it ticks your boxes. Don't compare it to top end units outside your budget if this is a constraint

New and shiny does not mean better - far from it .
PS4's are still being produced due to the shortage of PS5's . Far from ancient . Commodore 64 also re-released as did NES, Genesis and a hole other heap of Retro stuff .
Nothing wrong with playing with older stuff . Actually older games are far more challenging . If you were a true gamer you would know .

Depends on your budget. This is a budget 4k screen so you can't compare it to a £350+ branded top end screen.

Console mentality in a nutshell- Since it's hidden down the very bottom of the description, let's restate: it's TN.
I'm not sure why anyone would buy this display. Pay the extra £20 for the QHD 27" and you'll get better image quality, no colour shift, and higher refresh rates. The extra pixel density of this display might be useful for some applications, but the overall poor quality of these panels is a deal breaker for all but those who need the extra pixels, and have a really tight budget. jprince816/02/2022 20:00

A good 1080p screen is better than a poor 4k screen. A budget 4k setup only makes sense on a tv

For overall perceived picture quality sure, but for clarity and sharpness, no chance. This effect diminishes the further away the display is from your eyes.Edited by: "Chuggee" 17th FebChuchi16/02/2022 22:02

It will look okay. This is a very budget monitor. Biggest issue is the TN screen, meaning very poor viewing angles. You'll need to be sitting dead center to the screen.

Would be interesting to hear why that one stood out, especially for those looking at both- Oh dear, it arrived today. Fantastic to get it so quick on the free delivery option.
But after setting it up, I went to turn it on and...the power button didn't feel right.
All the buttons were broken, can't switch it on or anything.
It looks and feels plasticky and cheap. Disappointing.
It's going back, being collected on Monday.
Can't fault the seller on Customer Service but the product is a let down.
I cannot comment on the quality of the panel as I never got far enough with it to try out.
