Good specs, but I'm sticking with my 1080p monitor until we can get HDR in a monitor at this price.

This is probably what I'd recommend to someone looking for a monitor to do both office work and console gaming. Although I'd need to spend a good hour review hunting first.

I took the plunge to a 4k monitor few months ago well worth it didn't wait for hdr because there going to be pricey £500 ish expensive so be waiting ages for them to drop might as well go 4k I got big improvement in games visualy from 1080p

Did the same ,but picked up the LG 32ud59 - which is a fantastic monitor ! I currently use it on the ps4 pro and the visuals are exceptional to say the least. Not sure if I can justify near £1,000 plus for a monitor that is 4k uhd with hdr, I think I'll enjoy 4k as it is and when hdr is cheaper - I will look into replacing my current screen.
Presume TFT?

Same for me I'm using a 24 inch 4k panel LG for 4k gaming excellent quality but yeah if you want the hdr monitors there 500 and up I'll keep my 4k monitor few years then upgrade when there a reasonable price

TFT is the transistor network to address each pixel, almost everything is tft. You mean TN, and yes with that response time

I would say you want to watch for when monitors have HDR with a 1000 nits of peak brightness. Most HDR monitors just now don't have the needed brightness level to make HDR truely pop when viewing content. I think HDR as a 'thing' wont be long off appearing in cheap monitors.

I would wait until the brightness is proper and Windows 10 doesn't mange your PC setup trying to give you HDR on a monitor.
Fab monitor for the price and unsure why anyone would want to use it for 4K without using DP or HDMi connections in the first place, which seems to be where most of the uninformed negative reviews about it are coming from!

How well does it scale down for 1080 and 1440? (Assuming you have one )
