I got this for £150 two weeks ago, and at that price I feel like I got a steal as I only use it to WFH. For £200 I'd have second thoughts.
I personally would go for 1080 24in 144hz.

What’s the best sub £300 4K monitor at the moment? Seems the BenQ ones get decent reviews

I suppose if your playing console then 60 is okay...

Unless we're talking about the consoles coming at the end of the year
I bought a 60hz 4k monitor for my one X and it's good, but by November it will be no use for next gen 120hz consoles.
For any competitive FPS your far better off 1080p with min 120hz, much more responsive.

I got a benq 28 inch 4k monitor for 200 from ebuyer 2 months ago, I think it's average, it is a TN panel. Most reviews on youtube were hyping it up. Average monitor imo. Main selling point for me was that they had built in speakers which I definitely needed no matter how crappy they were.

Yeah because next gen consoles wont work at 60Hz!

The majority of people with home consoles coudlnt care less about FPS.

I use a 27" 1080p 144hz for pc and its great. No pixel visibility.
Of course next gen consoles will work @ 60hz lol. The manufacturers shoot themselves in the foot if they forced everyone to buy a new display. It's will be same as a pc if you have a better monitor you will be able to switch up to the higher refresh rate.

It looks as good as a 4k monitor on a smaller screen. I have a Acer 4k 1ms tn panel but I have bought the 1080 panel from msi.
