Free delivery. Possible 1.5% Quidco. Seems the best price anywhere for 32" 4k monitor and almost £50 cheaper than previous deals for the same monitor on HUKD. Ok I know it's cheap and not top spec but will be fine for many out there such as myself looking for a 4k screen at a decent size which won't need too much scaling and without breaking the bank.

Just ordered to grace my new stand up / sit down desk....

Tiptop spot & fab price for the spec!

Remember when iQ did the 34" fhd wide gaming screen last year and that sold super quick
From all the reading I have done on IQ monitors , this model appears to be have a Samsung Panel, so the image quality is great after some changes to the settings. As such it is a bit of a bargain if you get a trouble free one.

As always at this price range their are drawbacks.

The rest of the monitor is very cheaply made and quality control is not good. Common problems are dead pixels. Sound is forgettable. You need to check for these quickly and contact the supplier to return or exchange within a short timescale.

Check the returns period with the supplier - Appliances Direct who also own the supplier to Debenhams plus (IT DIrect) dont have a good returns policy - I think you have to return within 5 days. They are also sold through Tescos direct and laptops direct and amazon (I suspect it is the same company that supplies to each of these sellers).

I got this monitor a few months ago and absolutely love it. It does veer towards the pinks out of the box but it has an sRGB setting that just makes the colour perfectly match my MacBook Pro. It also has Picture in Picture which is a nice feature if your trying to work on two computers at once.
Want it but would need a better graphics card and also a 4k steaming device for netflix 4k due to restrictions even though I am sure my xeon and rx 470 could decode any encryption they wanted to put on fast enough..

do you know if this uses PWM ? also is there any blue light reduction, this is very tempting for a second monitor but these two things I need to know

Do you think we will still be experiencing the lottery draw with this batch of monitors where only some of these panels be good and the rest are naff?

For blue light reduction you could use f.lux software. Works pretty well and has been around for a while now. Hope it helps 🏽

Looks a steal!!!
Is freesync really worth it at less than 60fps? Adaptve sync snd enhanced sync and all these other things mean I never get tearing or lag at 60 or 30fps? Just wondering if I need it or not or a 4l tv will do as then has netflix 4k

Yeah, probably the normal scheme where they get the orders in and when they have enough orders they go make a batch order with the manufacturer/seller get them in stock before shipping out, pretty shoddy tactic in my opinion!.. Let us know how your experience with LaptopsDirect?..

Hmmm... This is a pretty epic deal. Might just about go for it even if I don't really need a monitor for my laptop!

You take a look at the quality of the products they make and realise they are not up to scratch. Basically this is an unknown brand with no pedigree. If you want to play safe LG, Samsung, HP, Asus, Acer, Benq are just a few decent brands that come to mind.Fiqqers post above says it all. People on HUKD generally post helpful comments. In the end its up to you.Its your £255.

I have one of these at my parents for my Dad to play flight sims on and me to use when I stop over. Seeing this I have ordered another (Note : if you get awaiting stock, thats for the cable that comes bundled, I just phoned and said forget the cable, send now). So I'm surrounded by Dell 4k UW ultrasharps, and although I dont think this monitor stands up side by side, the panel itself is pretty amazing for the price. I'm very happy with the one at my parents. The build quality is not the best, the OSD and controls are horrid, and if I had to use the OSD everyday I would consider something else, but you dont, so who cares.

My thoughts

Extra : One thing to note is how light it is on features, no USB hub etc, only 3 ports (1 of them DVI) but in the manual the HDMI is 2.0 so thats good

My second just arrived now, and the build quality is actually really not that bad. Colours are horrid out the box though
