The details
Add another dimension to your gaming with this ultra-wide monitor from electriQ. It's really immersive, giving you peripheral vision that you wouldn't experience with a standard model. You'll see enemies sneaking up behind you in shooter games, and cars trying to overtake in racing games, which helps you to react much quicker to give you the advantage over your opponent. Add to that a speedy refresh rate and incredible display, and you've got everything you need.

The 21:9 aspect ratio is compatible with more games than ever before and offers you an immersive experience like never before. That means the screen is curved much more than a standard curved monitor. It wraps further round you for a more natural and comfortable experience, with added benefits in game. You really do feel like you're in the middle of the action!

With a refresh rate of 60Hz, it’ll easily keep up with the fast paced games with smooth results. With an incredibly clear display, you can enjoy one of the clearest picture qualities available, revealing much more detail in every scene.

It offers plenty of connection options too with two HDMI ports, as well as DisplayPort and DVI ports, helping it to suit any set up. Connect games consoles, PCs and more to tailor your set up to suit you. The aspect ratio will automatically adjust to match the source too, so all you need to do is plug it in!

The matte screen prevents any distracting glare or reflections as you game too, helping you to enjoy the most comfortable experience possible. Its slim bezel helps to add to the immersive effect, pulling you into the game.

Any proof?..

Bought it when it was £220. Had to return it twice and accepted a refund when the third was faulty.

It was an issue with DP and lines showing up across the screen.

Definitely worth it at that kind of price, but just be aware that it could take a few exchanges to get what you want.

I’ve been watching this screen for while now for my son and missed the £229 week so was hoping today it would drop down again but it didn’t lol maybe cyber Monday !.

It would seem to be an issue with the supplied in box DP cable... Watch video below

I actually hit them up before it was delivered and they told me a DP wasn't supplied, so I went out and bought an alternative. (Then one ended up being supplied after all! But yeah, I tried different cables.)

Following the second monitor failure, I used yet another cable, connected to my other PC and then my laptop, which all resulted in the same thing.

Believe me, at £220, I would have *loved* it to be something other than the monitor!

Yep, also had this same issue after buying one at the same price. Tried a few different DisplayPort cables and it made no difference. Just returned it for a refund without bothering to try another, as it seems to be a common issue.

Paid another £70 and got an LG model. Swapped the high res for 144hz and havent looked back. Amazing!

As a naysayer, be aware you get what you pay for; other models that claimed good frame rate overclocking were actually found to be dropping frames to get the claimed speeds, and not actually giving the real refresh rate.

If you get a good one, great, but far too many people have reported returning unit after unit across multiple model ranges for me to ever risk my money on one.

The above "returned three" is NOT unusual for this make.

Save a bit longer, or stretch your credit card a bit further and go for an Acer, LG or Samsung curved gaming screen; AFAIK, all 3 makes use the same VA panels.
