What stands out
  • The ultra-wide display gives you immersive and peripheral vision, great for racing and shooter games
  • Incredible 3440 x 1440p display shows brilliant detail and colour
  • The curved screen helps to create a more comfortable and natural experience
  • There are plenty of connection options so you can connect to several devices at once
  • The matte display prevents any distracting glare or reflections

The details Add another dimension to your gaming with this ultra-wide monitor from electriQ. It's really immersive, giving you peripheral vision that you wouldn't experience with a standard model. You'll see enemies sneaking up behind you in shooter games, and cars trying to overtake in racing games, which helps you to react much quicker to give you the advantage over your opponent. Add to that a speedy refresh rate and incredible display, and you've got everything you need.

The 21:9 aspect ratio is compatible with more games than ever before and offers you an immersive experience like never before. That means the screen is curved much more than a standard curved monitor. It wraps further round you for a more natural and comfortable experience, with added benefits in game. You really do feel like you're in the middle of the action!

With a refresh rate of 100Hz, it’ll easily keep up with the fast paced games with smooth results. With an incredibly clear display, you can enjoy one of the clearest picture qualities available, revealing much more detail in every scene.

It offers plenty of connection options too with two HDMI ports and a DisplayPort, helping it to suit any set up. Connect games consoles, PCs and more to tailor your set up to suit you. The aspect ratio will automatically adjust to match the source too, so all you need to do is plug it in!

The matte screen prevents any distracting glare or reflections as you game too, helping you to enjoy the most comfortable experience possible. Its slim bezel helps to add to the immersive effect, pulling you into the game.

I have this monitor, it's fantastic for the price.

You definitely suffer a bit with it being VA but the 100Hz is flawless, G-Sync works at 95 Hz and after tweaking the vibrance up a bit, the colours are great.
Just suffers a bit with the backlight zones on flat dark scenes. For gaming though, it's amazing

Example below of this monitor as a VA panel vs a 27" IPS panel

I'm not voting, but at close to 300 knicker, I would want an IPS panel.

I've seen a 75Hz 34" IIyama IPS for £339 was considering pulling the trigger but I was hoping to find a good deal on here. I'll follow you in case you happen to find a good one (ps can't post the link, because apparently ebuyer is a banned retailer on HUKD)

IIyama have been around for donkey's .. got an ancient 1080P one sitting on my desk today very happy with it.. served me well for the last 10 years but yeah I have 3 monitors right now. An ASUS gaming one, an Acer 4K and the IIyama. Of all of them, I like the picture on the iiyama best but well 4K youtube is great too...

I tried an ultrawide ROG a few years ago, but it had horrible backlight bleed and the stand took up a good quarter of my desk.

But I'd replace them all for a decent ultrawide 1440P if I can find a decent deal.

I think my first monitor was one of theirs. Been around ages.

Nice monitors there I’m currently running a single MSI 1080p 144hz VA panel with my new pc build I put together 2 months ago. Looking to get a nice 1440p ultra-wide to add to it as well.

Most of that seems to be discussing an older monitor?

Anyway this one in particular appears to be a rebranded Massdrop Vast.

Seems to be a 60hz panel as well from 10 years ago. Definitely not the same monitor haha.

I found the link via Reddit and although there is a discrepancy with the 34”/35”, if not the same they seem very similar so I assume the panel issues remain.

Similarly they came to conclusion it was a rebranded Massdrop Vast too

Samsung LS34J550WQUXEN 34-Inch LED Monitor - Dark Blue/Grey amazon.co.uk/dp/…K5P

I have been looking at this Samsung ultra wide for the last week for 299.99

Only downside is it’s a VA panel

I had an iiyama professional grade CRT from back in the early 2000s. Only 19" but 1920x1440 resolution and colour accurate. Iiyama have been around a while.
Is this better than the Samsung I posted, the refresh rate is better, but I won't be using it for gaming, just office work.
Thanks
