Okay - here goes...
We’re after a new tv following an altercation involving my 2 year old and our previous 60” tv (anyone involved in the ‘shropshire rocks’ phenomenon will be able to fill in the blanks...)
Having read various tv deals on this site and read all the comments I *THINK* this isnt the worst deal out there.
I’m aware you can save ‘a couple of quid’ using sites elsewhere - but i’d prefer to buy from debenhams for ease of any potential return.
Any thoughts on this panel?
I await your scathing judgement.

Like I said, check Avforums my friend. One of
The best sources of info out there. They know what they’re saying unlike some reviewers who review HDMI cables😏

People slate HiSense because they are unashamebly a Chinese company, so it is automatically assumed to be tat. As I have said before, they are one of the leading brands in electronics inside China, so their stuff cannot be that bad.
ElectriQ, on the other hand, have a dire reputation for poor quality and terrible reliability.
Yes its made by Vestel ( who also make a lot of other "names" from our past, AKAI, JVC, ElectriQ, etc etc ) in Turkey no less, however the build quality is fine and it performs well. Screen quality is good , connection wise its decent and the inbuilt "Smart" software may need an update as mine didn't work out of the box, however its a simple update procedure and all works fine after that.
Over the last year this set ( remember mine was a Techwood but they're pretty much all the same just different badge ) has performed without issue, never tripped up once, however i have also looked at Hisense ones and they appear to be better than my Techwood in terms of HDR and 4k performance, for the money being asked this set is a good deal, id risk it because the "Major" players just aint worth the extra cash for what you get and , hey hop, ANY set can go pop after 12 months, just me 2 pennies worth!
