The details
This isn't just any old lightbulb, its the future of lighting! Gone are the days of accidentally leaving the lights on or having to walk over to the light switch to turn it on/off. That's because with this clever little light bulb you'll be able to control your lighting from anywhere using your smartphone! Simply replace your existing light bulb with the smart bulb, pair it with your Smartphone using the dedicated app and its ready to use! Once connected you'll be able to turn the lights on or off, set brightness and adjust the bulbs colour all without having to leave your sofa!

With over a million colour combinations to choose from you'll be able to fine tune the lighting for every occasion. I can set the mood for a movie with some deep red lighting, create an awesome party atmosphere with bright blue lighting, or just start your day right with a soft white light. There's even a timer function that lets you set the bulb to turn on/off at a pre-set time, so you can give the impression you're at home while away on holiday. The app supports up to 30 lightbulbs at a time, which means you'll be able to kit and control your entire homes lighting, from the bedroom down to the lamp in your living room. Andy the Expert needs some basic English lessons:
"Who would of " should of course read "Who would have".
This vs Yeelight? Differences?

Already own a few Yeelights which are pretty great so far, but the shipping time from China is terribly frustrating.
At up to 600 lumens this isn't as bright as the Hue ones (800), so yes it's cheap but isn't a good living room top light for me. Think 40-60W in old money.

Good for lamps, maybe.
Yeelights never again. Stopped working in 2

Bulb Life: 20,000 hours

My experience of cheapo LED bulbs is that the supposed 20,000 hours (i.e. 2½ years at 24*7*365) is less than 5 months in reality. Maybe 4,000 hours if you're lucky.

Yeelights often under a tenner, got a few coloured ones and a white one, would buy the yeelights again, decent build quality..
