How do they connect to a tv? Via an amplifier?

Yes via an amp. I bought a nice old Kenwood receiver amp for £40 on ebay and it runs these a dream. Old is gold as they say.

Far better then most sound bars and the added option to place them further away for better stereo. Soundbars are just more compact. Its just personal preference.

It's ok, I doubt any of the people buying one will ever use it anyway!

I already have. I have reworked a pulse mode charger for an extremely old laptop into an automotive battery charger (just change one resistor near the reference/regulator IC), and am using this as the ammeter pro tem while I wait for a dedicated ammeter to arrive from China. It is almost as cheap as the ammeter module which only has one function. I have other multimeters, including a twin of this one, which I use all the time. I am making a high output battery charger out of an old PC power supply and a multimeter is essential for various measurements in that task.

Have bought several around this price when friends needed and never a problem. Cheaper than many sell replacement cables for.

If people like measuring stuff with meters how about one of these;

Anyone had trouble getting readings with theirs?

I have black lead in bottom hole, red one in middle one and I am having trouble getting a reading on the screen when checking car battery voltage and car battery parasitic drain (amps). Sometimes i get data come up on screen but other times it just reads 0.00. Are they just rubbish or am i doing something wrong?

Ordered one, didnt work, rubbish quality, ended up in the bin.

£1 a metre seems cheap, if people are voting it cold there must be even cheaper prices elsewhere so perhaps they could tell us where!
