Great game and great price, sadly this product is let down by not having a transformer or being able to use one.
This DRINKS batteries at hell of a rate, it will only run (at all) with high quality batteries which dont last long even then - if you use cheapo batteries like we firstly did, it wouldnt even inflate the trunk lol!

+1

same price at tesco direct

I wouldn't recommend buying this. Got it at a similarly low price a few months ago, ordinary batteries just aren't strong enough to blow out the butterflies. It eats through high powered ones. I wouldn't recommend it at any price really.

Just bought one of these for £2 from a charity shop as new. Unfortunately it really does eat batteries 4 x c-cell AND it's a bl**dy annoying game as you just have to constantly pick up all the little 'butterflies' and put them back in the elephant time and again. BORING! Will be back at the charity shop very soon this one

They probably made ir deliberate that a mains transformer can't be used as it would be a trip hazard with all the kids running about.

Shame it eats batteries .....might have bought one for the kids....oh well.

my mum got one as new from a boot sale last year for 50p. that is about all it's worth because it costs a small fortune in batteries. good game but only for about 10-15 mins.

yep i have to agree,my son loves it,but costs a fortune in batteries,
,it should be cheap, because it cost so much to run,
not bad price if you were buying as a gift :-)

How about re-chargable batteries?

It's this price in Sainsburys at the moment too, I bought monopoly jnr there for this price yesterday.

Got 1 at chrimbo for the kids, only been out twice since, hugely disappointing game, overpriced even at this price, -v from me sorry:oops:

Agreed...I ended up chucking it out, wouldn't recommend it at all.
